  “I had a really frustrating experience with Craig and his crew. They were friendly enough, but ultimately, they misdiagnosed the problem with my wet basement wall. I paid $3,100 for them to seal the outside of the wall, but the issue persisted for six months. Craig then suggested drilling holes inside the wall and running a fan, which I did for months, but it didn’t solve anything. Eventually, he realized the problem was with a pipe running out of the foundation – it wasn’t angled correctly and was leaking. Sadly, he didn’t have a way to check inside, and he kept recommending further interior repairs, essentially repeating a failed attempt already made by the previous owner. After I found a chunk of old epoxy inside the pipe, Craig stopped communicating with me. It became clear that the original issue was with the pipe itself, and I ended up paying a different plumber to fix it properly. It’s taken almost a year to finally get my basement dry, and I didn't get my initial $3,100 back. If you’re dealing with a wet basement, I’d recommend exploring other options.” report abuse

  This was a shockingly poor job. Frankly, I’ve never encountered a contractor who would leave a basement waterproofing project looking this bad. It’s clear this company was responsible for the initial waterproofing, as the damage – ripped-up floors, unfinished walls, writing on the walls, and exposed outlets – suggests they didn’t bother to even tidy up or make the work look presentable. The final result looks exactly like the beginning of the project, which is completely unacceptable. They really need to take more pride in their workmanship. report abuse
