  We were absolutely thrilled with the work Longfellow did on our home in Falmouth! From start to finish, their attention to detail was outstanding, and Matt Berry, our project manager, really went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and easy process for us. The whole team was incredibly hardworking and friendly – we really appreciated their courteous attitude and the positive vibe they brought to the project. It’s fantastic to see the transformation and we’ve already had so many neighbors commenting on how fabulous it looks!   Overall, we’re happy with the new sunroom addition we had built at Cape House, but it wasn’t quite the seamless experience we’d hoped for. Our project manager was fantastic and really helpful throughout the process. However, we did encounter some inconsistencies with the subcontractors – for instance, the flooring had splinters after installation, and it took bringing that to their attention for them to completely redo the section. We were really fortunate to have noticed that, as we could have been stuck paying for repairs. The biggest issue, though, was the very end of the project. It dragged on for months after we’d paid the final amount, and we waited an incredibly long time to get our deposit back. We only received it because we kept following up. It seems they were having some cash flow problems which unfortunately impacted the quality of the work and caused a lot of frustration for everyone involved.   “I have to say, Longfellow did an absolutely fantastic job renovating our two homes as part of the “family compound”. They have an incredible team – they really listened to our needs, designed the spaces perfectly, and completed the work on time and within budget. Rafael was our project manager, and he was fantastic! He was so attentive to detail, always responsive, and kept the whole project moving forward without ever compromising on quality. It was great to see him personally address a small issue with the tub drain just a month after the first house was finished – he was there the next day to take care of it.   “We absolutely loved working with Longfellow Design and Build on our recent addition and basement finishing project in Falmouth. From start to finish, they were fantastic! They were incredibly professional and really on top of everything – the design process, getting the permits, and the construction itself. Despite the challenges of the COVID lockdown mid-project, they managed to complete the work and get us back into our home in time for the summer, which we were so grateful for.   “Mark and Kevin were fantastic to work with during our recent home renovation. We were looking to completely transform our North Falmouth house from a modern saltbox to a classic Cape Cod style, and Mark really understood our vision. We got quotes from several companies, but the others were pushing us towards the existing window style and were significantly over budget. Mark, however, immediately impressed us with his expertise and willingness to listen. He carefully discussed our goals, budget, and ultimately, created a plan that allowed us to achieve the look we wanted – including those fantastic up-and-down windows we’d been dreaming of. We ended up hiring Longfellow, and they did a wonderful job, especially getting the front and side shingles done and installing the new windows. It’s amazing how much of a difference Mark’s advice made – we were able to stay within budget while completely changing the exterior to match our desired Cape Cod style. They even finished the work before Thanksgiving, which was a huge relief. All in all, the finished product looks incredible, even better than I initially imagined, and I wholeheartedly recommend Mark and his team!” report abuse

  Mark and his team completely transformed our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the result! They handled everything from a significant addition – bumping out a side of the house and building a beautiful 4-season room – to a full gut and remodel of our bathroom and bedroom. They also added a charming farmers porch and a new deck, and tackled a total roof replacement and interior updates, including new windows, trim, and a fresh coat of paint throughout. What really stood out was how seamlessly they worked while we were away on vacation – they kept us constantly updated with weekly photos and were always just a phone call away if we had any questions. Their design team was incredibly helpful, offering great suggestions and even adding some fantastic, unexpected details that really elevated the project. The quality of their work is outstanding; you can tell they take immense pride in what they do. We were absolutely blown away when we finally returned home and saw the incredible transformation. Everyone we’ve told about Longfellow’s work has been equally impressed, especially after seeing the before and after pictures. It’s truly amazing how seamlessly the old and new blend together. To top it all off, the project stayed on schedule and within budget.
