  Chris did a great job explaining the need for the drain and sump pumps for our crawlspace – he was really informative and didn’t use any high-pressure sales tactics. It was clear he actually has experience with this kind of work, and we really appreciated his calm and knowledgeable approach. Tyler and Riley, the foreman and workers, were fantastic too! They were so friendly and kept us well-informed throughout the entire process, which made a huge difference. Seriously, considering the hard work they put in, digging all day in those crawlspaces, they were incredibly upbeat and positive. And April was a lifesaver with scheduling – she managed to get us in much sooner than we anticipated. report abuse

  “We’ve been incredibly frustrated with AFS since June, when their inspector, Ben Worsham, initially assessed our foundation issues. Despite a significant investment, the work they did was completely inadequate. The crew didn’t follow the plans correctly, leaving us with unlevel supports and gaps in the encapsulation. It was clear they hadn’t addressed the core problem, and no one could explain why. After two weeks of chasing them for a resolution, a new inspector arrived late and without apology, followed by a crew that simply didn’t show. We eventually got some of the issues fixed, but now, after almost a month, we’ve uncovered even more serious foundation problems. It’s incredibly disappointing, especially since we contacted AFS as soon as we bought the house to ensure everything was in order. It feels like they missed a crucial detail, and getting a response or a fair resolution has been a constant battle. Honestly, we're left feeling completely let down and skeptical about their reputation – it certainly hasn’t protected us.” report abuse

  “We really felt pressured into rushing into a decision with AFS, being told the price would jump significantly if we didn’t sign up immediately. Thankfully, we realized we’d been misled and cancelled the deal within the allowed timeframe. However, it’s been incredibly frustrating that they haven’t provided any confirmation of the cancellation – no email, and we’ve been unable to get in touch with anyone who can actually tell us when we’ll receive our money back.” report abuse

  Overall, we were very pleased with the work AFS did on April 14th. Joseph, Michael, and Charles arrived promptly and clearly explained the process, taking the time to discuss my mom’s specific wishes for the landscaping – she had some very particular ideas about what to keep. The lead person was particularly professional and attentive to her needs. They did a fantastic job placing the eight piers and carefully returned the flowers and garden art to her preferred locations; in fact, the entire area looked noticeably better afterward! We’ve had a great experience with AFS – they did the piers on the opposite side of the house last year and they’ve held up perfectly after a year, so we’d definitely recommend them. report abuse

They were so patient answering all my questions, and they even took the time to clean up everything afterward.
