  I hired Design Innovations for a retaining wall project, and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly frustrating and ultimately disappointing. From the very beginning, they were polite during the quoting process, but once the contract was signed, their professionalism completely vanished. I received less than 24 hours' notice before the workers arrived, which caused significant disruption. Worse, they didn’t inform me beforehand that they would be removing my plants – I had to take time off work to do so. When I raised this with Cherry, the person I dealt with, she dismissed my concerns, claiming no one told me to take time off, and her workers would handle it. Despite my explaining that some of my plants were rare and needed careful handling, they insisted it was best I do it myself. Then, on the second day, they completely botched the job, breaking my sewage pipe and dragging my waterline, resulting in $3,000 in damages that I had to cover myself. Cherry didn’t offer a single apology, simply stating they followed protocol. Throughout the entire project, the lack of any acknowledgment of the damage and inconvenience was appalling. It’s clear they only care about the contract and once it’s signed, their commitment disappears. **Important Note for Potential Customers:** Be aware that the master agreement places the responsibility for any underground pipes on the customer. Also, ensure they mark all utility lines, as they don’t and they will use your soil if you don't explicitly tell them not to. report abuse

  Ryan and his team did an absolutely amazing job creating our new patio, staircase, shed, and driveway. They really listened to our vision and even offered some brilliant suggestions to enhance the design without breaking the bank. We’re thrilled with the final result – the craftsmanship is outstanding, and William, Marcio, and the whole crew are incredibly skilled and detail-oriented. Ryan was fantastic too, always being responsive and professional when we had questions about costs, timelines, or materials, especially given the challenges of working through Covid. Honestly, the only area we think could be improved is their communication throughout the project. However, we appreciate their efforts and are now working with Ryan and Cherry to resolve an issue with one of the paver styles, and we’re confident they’ll get it sorted out. We can’t wait to finally enjoy our beautiful outdoor space when the weather warms up! report abuse

  I would strongly advise against using this company for any construction project. My experience with them was incredibly concerning. They repeatedly failed to pay subcontractors, demonstrated a shocking lack of building expertise – it seemed they didn’t even know how to build a deck properly. Worse still, they didn’t obtain necessary permits. The owner, Ryan, was consistently incompetent, and their project manager, Luis, made threatening statements about outstanding payments, even over relatively small amounts. Based on my experience, it’s clear this company is unreliable and potentially dishonest; I wouldn’t trust them with your project under any circumstances. report abuse
