  “I was really impressed with Kobalt – specifically with Nelson, the owner. I was searching for a contractor through Home Advisor and met with several companies before and after talking to him, but Nelson immediately stood out. You could tell he genuinely cared about his work and took a huge sense of responsibility. He was always incredibly responsive, honest, and walked me through everything from start to finish. I had a new fence installed, and it was a surprisingly complex process getting the materials delivered – it took about two and a half months! But Nelson was patient and kept me informed the whole time. I’m a very detail-oriented person, and I’m an engineer myself, so I have high standards. When the fence was finally complete, I was blown away. It’s a straight 86-foot fence and it’s absolutely beautiful – perfectly aligned, like something out of a magazine. My neighbors love it, and it’s completely transformed my backyard. The team at Kobalt were not just friendly and respectful, they were truly accountable. One of the workers even took a family vacation to ensure my project was completed. It’s clear they genuinely cared about my satisfaction.   We absolutely loved working with Kobolt on our guest bath remodel. From the start, Nelson, the owner, was fantastic – he really took the time to listen to our ideas and answered all of our questions about the entire process, even providing us with some beautiful renderings of the finished bathroom. The quality of their work was outstanding, and it was so reassuring to have them maintain a clean and organized work site. When a small issue popped up with a supplier, Nelson immediately stepped in and resolved it quickly and efficiently.   Working with Kobolt Construction was an absolutely fantastic experience. They’re truly a special company – it feels like they genuinely care about their clients, and they treated me like family. I initially hired them for two bathroom remodels and a kitchen remodel, but as I saw the quality of their work, I just kept adding more projects to them. Nelson, the owner, was incredible. He took the time to sit down with me every evening to discuss the day’s progress and our plans for the next day, and he even went above and beyond, helping me with things like moving furniture and cleaning out my garage. Everyone on the crew was so friendly and professional, and I felt completely comfortable leaving them in my home. Nelson, his wife Bree, and the whole team really made the whole process so enjoyable, and I honestly feel like my family has grown because of them. I even got to meet their daughter, who’s a lovely girl. And to top it all off, Nelson's sister took care of cleaning up after the construction – she’s just as dedicated and wonderful as the rest of the team!   “I absolutely couldn’t be happier with Kobolt Construction! After a really frustrating experience with my first contractor, I was understandably cautious, but from the moment I met Nelson, I knew we’d found the right team. He was incredibly professional, honest, and responsive – exactly what I needed. He quickly put together a competitive bid, followed up with excellent references that I checked out, and listened carefully to my ideas for the project (an 875 sq. ft. addition). Nelson and his crew have been fantastic, offering thoughtful suggestions to improve the design while never trying to upsell. They’ve gone above and beyond, especially helping us navigate a complicated approval process with the city. The site is always clean and organized when they leave, which I really appreciate. Even though the project isn’t finished yet, I have complete confidence that we’ll be thrilled with the final result – I wish I’d found Kobolt sooner!   “We’d been enjoying our condo for nearly 30 years, and it was finally time to retire in Mexico, so we embarked on a full remodel. We got several quotes and KoBolt Construction really stood out – Nelson was incredibly patient with our vision and their bid was very competitive. We were away for the entire project, but Nelson kept us updated constantly with photos and calls, and we were thrilled with how quickly Manuel and his team got to work. They finished the remodel in just four weeks, which was amazing, and they used fantastic materials – hardwood floors, quartz countertops, even pet-resistant carpet – all top quality. The finished condo is absolutely stunning! However, a few months later, while we were enjoying Mexico, we had a really stressful situation. Water started leaking from the ceiling in the kitchen, and it turned out a valve had failed. Nelson and his crew were there within an hour, working around the clock to fix the damage. They really went above and beyond, pulling workers off other jobs to prioritize our repair. It took them just a week to get everything back to perfect, and we were so grateful for their dedication and responsiveness.   Nelson and Kobolt Construction completely transformed our new home, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.
