  “I had a really frustrating experience. The customer service I received was shockingly poor. The representative, who’s been with the company since 2007, seemed completely unhelpful and just kept making excuses. It felt like she was actively avoiding the work. I’d previously purchased metal from Ernest Maier, and honestly, I was so relieved he wasn't handling my current issue – the job was done so much more efficiently when he was. She insisted I bring the metal inside the office, which was completely unreasonable, especially considering the size of the pieces. It felt incredibly dismissive and like she was deliberately trying to make my experience difficult. After a wasted 5 minutes of her telling me they couldn't help, they suddenly offered to "just look" for $125, and then charged an hourly consultation fee. The whole interaction just felt incredibly unprofessional and pointed to a very negative attitude towards customers. It’s a shame, as I was a loyal customer of Ernest Maier before, but I won't be returning.” report abuse

  “I want to share a really negative experience I had with Home Paramount pest control. They used to work out of the building next door, and unfortunately, they were incredibly unpleasant neighbors. They were consistently rude and repeatedly interfered with my car, which was completely unacceptable behavior. I strongly advise against doing business with them.” report abuse

  “I recently contacted this place to get a quote on some lumber for a client, but it was a really frustrating experience. It turns out they also operate out of a Frederick location, which wasn’t clear from their contact information – it’s quite limited. When I called back, the person who answered just hung up. The customer service was absolutely terrible. I really think they need to retrain their staff on how to handle inquiries professionally and communicate effectively. Sadly, this was a negative experience, and I won’t be recommending them to any of my clients.” report abuse

  “I’ve been incredibly disappointed with this supplier. We’ve been buying from them consistently – over $30,000 a year – and unfortunately, it’s been a really frustrating experience. Initially, they assured us they’d accept returns on any leftover stock, and we even discussed ordering extra to avoid shortages. However, when we tried to return a small quantity, they flatly refused, despite having employees present who confirmed their willingness to accept returns. We presented evidence of this to them, but they completely ignored it. Eventually, they admitted they were wrong and took the merchandise back, promising a store credit. However, it’s now been over four months, and I still haven't received my money back. Honestly, I feel completely ripped off. Beyond the return issue, we've constantly faced problems with our orders being incorrect, requiring us to spend a lot of time and effort correcting them. I’m done with this supplier – I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.” report abuse
