  I was really disappointed with Cooper Paving. I contacted them to get a quote for paving my driveway and addressing some erosion issues – it was a nearly $10,000 job. Matt initially came out and promised to send me an estimate within a week, but I never heard back. I followed up multiple times over the next few weeks, calling repeatedly to get an estimate, but no one ever responded. It’s clear they weren't interested in pursuing the job, and their lack of communication was incredibly frustrating. Honestly, it felt like they weren't taking my business seriously at all. I would strongly advise against hiring them; their poor follow-up is a major red flag. report abuse

  “We got quotes from several paving companies, and S. Cooper Paving really stood out. While some of the other bids were lower in price, Cooper’s proposal was significantly better – they included 4 inches of gravel and 4 inches of asphalt, which we felt would ensure a much longer-lasting driveway.   “We were so pleased with Cooper Paving’s work on our driveway back in 2013 that we didn’t hesitate to call them again when we noticed some damage in 2020. They were incredibly professional – the job was completed on time and exactly as quoted. What really stood out was their attention to detail and the high quality of their work, especially when they fixed the damage and applied a new seal coat.   “I couldn’t be happier with the work Cooper Paving did. For ten years, my garage flooded, and they completely solved the problem by regrading and replacing my entire driveway. The drainage is fantastic now – it’s all directed perfectly away from the house. They were incredibly professional, really meticulous with their surveying and leveling equipment, and the whole job was done in just one and a half days!   “I’d highly recommend Cooper Paving – they did my driveway back in ‘98, and it’s still in fantastic shape! It’s lasted over 23 years with only a few minor wear spots.   “I was really disappointed with my experience. I scheduled an estimate and then received a call explaining that Cooper Paving doesn’t do work in Baltimore City, even though they’re just a 20-minute drive away in Glen Burnie. It seemed odd that they wouldn’t work in the same city! To make it even stranger, Annapolis is further from their location than my project site.” report abuse
