  Overall, we were really pleased with the work Expert Building did on our 110-year-old house after the roof ice damage. John was fantastic – he took a really thorough look at the damage, explained all the options for fixing it and preventing future problems, and listened carefully to our desire to maintain the house’s historic character. We especially appreciated being involved in the decision-making process. In the end, we expanded the project to include replacing a special-order exterior door, a long-overdue bathroom remodel, and repairing the chimney. The quality of the work has been excellent, and they completed everything on schedule, even while complying with the Minnesota Stay-At-Home order. report abuse

  This company’s approach raised serious red flags for me. Their initial offer of $300 to simply provide a bid felt incredibly suspect, and their reassurance that the insurance company would cover it was completely misleading. It’s clear they’re trying to exploit the insurance process, and frankly, it’s dishonest. Adding these extra costs doesn't benefit anyone except those looking to take advantage of the system – I wouldn’t trust them at all. report abuse

  Overall, we’ve been incredibly pleased with Expert Building Services. They’ve handled a number of upgrades for us, including insulating our cabin walls, repairing the foundation, adding a Class 5 driveway, and installing new windows and doors. We’re really looking forward to the new countertops, sink, and cabinets they’re installing soon. What’s really stood out is the team – everyone we’ve dealt with has been so friendly, attentive, and genuinely easy to work with.   “I’m so pleased with the deck Expert Building Services built for us. We’d been trying for four summers to find a contractor, and I really appreciate John taking the time to respond to our initial inquiry. It was great that he followed up so quickly after I left a message – he even came out to take a look just a couple of days later. Despite being incredibly busy, they managed to squeeze us in after a cancellation, and the result is a beautiful new deck.
