“We absolutely adore our new home from Pathway House – it’s been fantastic for our growing family, and we’re so thrilled with it. The team there were wonderful and made the whole process much smoother than we expected, so we’d definitely recommend them!”
-
“We really appreciated the time Pathway Homes spent working with us to design our ideal home. Unfortunately, due to some unforeseen changes, we ultimately decided not to proceed with the build. However, we were incredibly impressed with how professional and understanding Pathway Homes were throughout the process. We would absolutely consider them again for any future home construction projects in Northern Michigan.”

“I couldn’t be happier with Pathway Homes! They were the only builder who offered me a timeframe that matched my needs, which was fantastic. Everyone I worked with was incredibly professional and the quality of their work was truly outstanding. The different teams were all top-notch. It’s great to see a company that delivered, especially considering the challenges of building during COVID and with supply shortages – I absolutely love my new home and want to thank Pathway Homes for everything!”

Overall, we’re really happy with our new home and incredibly pleased with the service we received from Pathway Homes. They were very responsive and kept us well-informed throughout the process. We also appreciated how quickly and efficiently they handled the extra projects we added before we moved in.

Overall, my experience with Pathways was incredibly disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend them. From start to finish, it felt more like a sales pitch than a genuine home building project. The biggest issue was the constant disregard for my concerns. I had to repeatedly ask for the smoking inside my new home to be addressed – the project manager initially suggested signs and then admitted he couldn’t control the workers. There was a serious lack of communication too; despite numerous requests to meet with the team to discuss my worries, nothing ever materialized. They also changed suppliers mid-build and tried to pass the extra costs onto us, which was completely unacceptable. Adding to the frustration was a feeling of laziness on the part of the project manager, who would frequently change their story to avoid taking responsibility for issues. It felt like they were deliberately avoiding fixing problems. Finally, the move-in cleaning was shockingly poor. The basement was filled with mud and dust, making it hard to breathe, and the cleaning was done by a single staff member and her son, with a noticeable lack of care – including a wet wipe left in the toilet. Honestly, Pathways seems more like a marketing company that utilizes contractors rather than a reliable home building company. I also noticed that some of the glowing five-star reviews online appear to be from family members of the project managers, which raises some serious questions about their objectivity. If you're prepared for a significant amount of stress and headaches, then perhaps Pathways might be an option. Otherwise, I strongly suggest you explore other builders.

“I really appreciate the convenience of Pathway – it’s fantastic that you can just pop in and buy cabinets or flooring without needing to go through the full design process. I was surprised to hear that many of my friends didn’t realize you offered that option!”

John really knocked it out of the park with the initial build for the house. He paid such careful attention to detail, and thankfully, he made the whole process really straightforward and even enjoyable.
-
“Pathway did an absolutely wonderful job building our house two years ago. My family and I truly love it – they didn’t just build a house, they really built our home for us.”
-
“I had an absolutely awful experience here. It seems like a concerted effort is being made to hide the truth – I’ve noticed a lot of reviews seem to come from family or people he works with, which makes me think they're trying to cover up negative feedback. Honestly, the building itself was a nightmare.”
-
Honestly, my experience working with this company was pretty disappointing. They were quite unprofessional and shifted their approach several times, which made the whole process really confusing and unreliable. I wouldn’t recommend using their services.
