  “There were some significant issues with this project. The flooring and carpet were installed in the wrong colors without the necessary change order approvals, and the kitchen cabinets were a different style than agreed upon, again without proper authorization. Communication between the Rock Creek team and the customer could have been much better, and unfortunately, there were instances of overpromising and failing to meet expectations.” report abuse

However, we did notice a few things that weren’t included as originally promised, which was a little frustrating.   “Overall, our experience with this project was incredibly frustrating. We encountered significant issues with the contractor’s work, particularly during the construction phase where the kitchen was incorrectly arranged, and the porch ultimately sagged within a year due to a flawed build. Obtaining warranty repairs was a major battle, and we felt consistently disregarded. There were also serious safety concerns – the fridge was placed dangerously close to the stove, requiring us to intervene and threaten further action. Sadly, working with Contractor Scott was a consistently negative experience, marked by rudeness and a lack of responsiveness.” report abuse

  Overall, we were pretty disappointed with Rock Creek Homes. We ended up spending a lot of time and effort ourselves fixing up several issues that weren’t addressed during the build. report abuse
