  “I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Skip Descavich. He’s been doing plumbing for 30 years and is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and just a genuinely good guy. I was looking into replacing my old 1965 gas steam furnace, and Skip was fantastic – he gave me a really honest assessment of the furnace’s condition, explained that parts were readily available, and pointed out that a steam boiler is often surprisingly efficient compared to water or air systems. He even squeezed in a consultation on the same day I contacted him, and didn’t charge a dime! Another local plumber I spoke with was also hugely impressed with Skip, which just speaks volumes about his reputation.   Skip was absolutely fantastic – I can’t praise his work enough. We had a really awful situation with a flooded toilet, and another plumber had completely let us down, leaving us without a working toilet for days. But Skip was there first thing Monday morning, quickly diagnosed the problem, and had everything fixed by lunchtime.   “Skip was fantastic! I called him out after a really frustrating sewer backup, and he quickly diagnosed the issue – it turned out to be some old, outdated Victorian plumbing. He not only fixed the problem incredibly fast, but did it for a surprisingly reasonable price.   “Overall, I was really pleased with the work. They were incredibly prompt and kept the area spotless – no mess at all. The rate of $225 an hour felt a little steep considering the size of the job, but they were remarkably efficient, and the final cost was significantly lower than Roto-Rooter’s quote.
