I was really disappointed with the way things were handled at the new Chick-fil-A in Frederick. For months now, they’ve been ignoring the necessary precautions for dust control on windy days – it’s frankly shocking. I contacted them after three days of strong winds over the exposed dirt field, concerned about the impact on our asthma and the fact we live just a block away. Initially, they brushed me off, but eventually promised to address the issue. However, the next day and the day after, there was absolutely no action taken. They didn’t even hose down their trucks as required, despite the ongoing windy conditions. It’s a shame they didn’t seem to care about the impact on the surrounding community, and I hope they’ll prioritize the well-being of local residents in future projects.

“There seems to be a real need for better training regarding mask usage when visiting businesses. It was concerning to see an older gentleman sneeze repeatedly at the Pilot Truck Stop in Hagerstown and then proceed to the coffee area without covering himself. When I politely brought it to his attention, his response – simply ‘yeah, yeah, yeah!’ – was completely unacceptable and demonstrated a lack of awareness and consideration for others.”
