“Tina was fantastic – so helpful and friendly to chat with yesterday. I really liked seeing the tiny homes as they were being built and the wide range of options available. The service was excellent, and it’s great that there’s so much information to help you explore your choices. I’m still weighing my options about buying a tiny home, but I’m hoping to gather more information soon.”

Mr. Burke at Quincy High School wanted to express his appreciation for Backcountry Tiny Homes. He and his students have been incredibly impressed with the team’s knowledge and helpfulness as they’ve been learning about building tiny homes. It’s clear they go above and beyond, and we’re really grateful for their support – even though we’re not a paying customer!

“I had an incredible experience on the backcountry tour – it was truly amazing! Tina was fantastic; she patiently answered all my questions and went above and beyond to help. I’m definitely going to be in touch with them again once I’ve sorted out my plans for a tiny home – the level of detail they put into their builds is just outstanding.”

I was really impressed with Backcountry Tiny Homes. I discovered them through an article on Facebook featuring their Acorn model, and after looking at their website, I was immediately struck by how professional and experienced they seemed. I booked a free design consultation, which was incredibly helpful, and then visited their shop. Seeing the Acorns being built firsthand – and taking the advice to wear closed-toe shoes – really drove home just how compact they are. As a retired carpenter with over 20 years of experience, I really appreciated their attention to detail and the solid engineering behind their builds. They clearly know a *lot* about the specific challenges of building on a trailer, including things like seismic considerations, RVIA requirements, and finding the right ventilation systems. It’s clear they’ve thought of everything! What stood out most was their genuine interest in understanding my needs and desires. There was no pressure to buy, just a real passion for tiny homes. They were incredibly flexible and seemed genuinely committed to helping me realize my dream build – and honestly, their product just seems to be built to a much higher standard than I could achieve myself.

I really enjoyed my visit to Backcountry Tiny Homes on Friday, July 19th! The drive was pleasant and the whole experience was a real pleasure. Luke was fantastic – he gave me a great tour of the shop and patiently answered all my questions about the Acorn model. While I didn’t get to see a finished one, it was really exciting to meet the owner working on a build. I'm eagerly anticipating getting my Acorn model in the near future, and I highly recommend anyone visiting to do so!

Tina is fantastic – they really know their stuff and have a great, approachable way of explaining things. I’d definitely like to collaborate with them again in the future.

Backcountry was fantastic – incredibly patient and really helpful in answering my questions about zoning and land use. They also have some great free resources on their website to get you started with the research.

“I really enjoyed my time working on a project for this company. Not only was the welding work itself great, but I also got a fantastic opportunity to tour the facility and see the beautiful homes they build – they’re truly top-notch! And the team was incredibly friendly and easy to work with. I’d definitely recommend them.”

Tina did a fantastic job leading the tour – she was so knowledgeable and really helpful, and I absolutely loved it! I’m definitely planning on coming back.
