  Harbor Springs Excavating did an absolutely fantastic job with our recent sewer repair. From start to finish, we were so impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their work. Graham was great at the initial estimate, and Bruce, along with his assistant Mike, were just incredible – Bruce especially was a master with the equipment, handling the extensive excavation of our lawn and hillside with such skill.   “I was so impressed with Harbor Springs Excavating! From start to finish, they were incredibly professional and really easy to work with. I ordered a large quantity of seedlings from the conservation district sale and when I realized I needed a driveway to access the planting area – due to a flooded drainage ditch – they were on it. Their estimator was fantastic, quickly assessed the situation and helped me find the best location for the driveway. Within a week, they’d provided a detailed estimate and, amazingly, secured the necessary permits in less than a month. The result is a perfect driveway crossing the ditch. But that’s not all! They even went the extra mile by picking up some bushes nearby and planting them alongside the driveway – something I’m sure many excavation crews wouldn't have bothered with.   “Harbor Springs Excavating really saved the day for me! When my septic line unexpectedly collapsed, they were incredibly responsive – they arrived on Tuesday morning after I called them on Monday afternoon, had the job completely replaced by Wednesday, and even backfilled everything by Thursday. It was amazing they could get it done so quickly, especially since it was the week before the 4th of July. Because I had renters scheduled to move in that weekend, I needed it fixed ASAP, and they delivered! The crew was fantastic – professional and really friendly.” report abuse

  I was really disappointed with the service I received when they installed my drain field last fall. I specifically asked the installer not to seed the area, as I had my own seed to use. However, they proceeded to seed it anyway, and the seed has unfortunately turned into mostly weeds. Worse still, they used dirt filled with a lot of rocks, which I had painstakingly removed myself last fall, and they’re still popping up. I’ve already had to replace my blades twice this year, and I wouldn’t recommend this company for drainfield installations. report abuse
