  “Honestly, I’m extremely disappointed with the whole experience. The original budget clearly included a kitchen, but you didn’t adjust the price when we decided to remove it. It felt like you weren't really listening to our needs. Throughout the process, it felt like you were primarily focused on meeting the town inspectors’ requirements, and there was a serious lack of communication and guidance for us as clients – that was a major oversight. A year after the addition was completed, we’re now dealing with black mold and malfunctioning HVAC units. And frankly, bringing up the change orders felt completely irrelevant given the issues we’re now facing. I have a lot of documentation and photos to support my concerns.” report abuse

  “Overall, I had a really positive experience building my home with Mod-Tech. It wasn’t without its challenges – we faced some hurdles related to approvals and other influences – but we ended up with a fantastic, comfortable home. From the initial design stages through to getting the final occupancy permits, Mod-Tech handled everything efficiently. They were particularly good at managing changes during construction, and they took care of all the finishing work themselves. I did encounter a few typical new-home issues, but Mod-Tech was incredibly responsive and quickly got everything sorted out.   Mod-Tech Homes truly went above and beyond for us during an incredibly difficult time. It wasn’t just the quality of their work, but their genuine care and empathy that stood out. When our home burned down, they were so understanding and sincere, and the communication between their teams and with us was fantastic – we always felt informed and supported. They offered excellent recommendations and made the entire rebuilding process surprisingly smooth and even enjoyable, constantly keeping our spirits up and reminding us of the beautiful home we would have at the end.   “I’m incredibly disappointed with Mod-Tech Homes. I hired them in 2017-2018 to build my dream home, but it was a complete disaster. They didn’t deliver on any of the promises they made, and the finished product was nowhere near what I’d envisioned. I specifically requested three bedrooms, and I received only one good one; the rest was just a basic, unusable space. Even the two-car garage was inadequate, only fitting one vehicle. It’s now 2021, and I’m still dealing with ongoing issues and needing to constantly fix problems that should have been addressed during construction. Frankly, they completely failed to uphold their advertising and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone, not even for a small project like building a dog house.” report abuse
