“This was by far the best building experience we’ve had, especially considering this was our third home. We’d never worked with contemporary architecture before, and we were a little nervous going in. But from the very beginning, working with Jim was fantastic. He was incredibly attentive to detail and always made sure our vision was being realized. Because of his talent and expertise, the entire project ran so smoothly – it was truly flawless and even finished ahead of schedule. We absolutely love the house – it’s brilliantly designed and incredibly practical. Honestly, if I could give it more than five stars, I would!”

What really stood out was his ability to really understand our vision and create a home that’s both beautiful and incredibly functional. We’re so happy with our new home in Montrose and highly recommend Jim!”

“We absolutely love our new front facade – it’s completely transformed our home. My wife and I bought our house from the builder seven years ago, and while we adore the rest of the house, we realized we wanted a more modern design up front. We knew we needed an architect specializing in contemporary design, so we spent a lot of time researching and ultimately chose Jim Evans at Collaborative Designworks. From the very first meeting, we were impressed by Jim’s incredibly detailed approach and truly brilliant ideas. He took our vision and elevated it, making it so much better than anything we could have come up with ourselves. He expertly guided us through every stage, from initial design discussions to the final plans, ensuring that no detail was overlooked. What’s truly remarkable is that Jim kept the project on budget, and the result is stunning. Our home now has a beautiful, cohesive design that perfectly blends all the elements. We’ve been completely satisfied throughout the entire process – no surprises, no stress, just exceptional architecture and flawless execution. Jim also skillfully selected Felix Chen from BHC Metro as the contractor, and they worked together seamlessly. Jim is a serious, thoughtful architect, and his respect within the Houston architecture community is well-deserved.”
