  I was referred to Studio Design Build by an engineer for my 30,000 sq ft (approx) business building. I obtained architectural bids from numerous firms. Rudy Del Bosque, the principal here, stood out for good reasons. I am highly appreciative of Rudy’s responsiveness, architectural passion, and experience with the complete process from designing a project to integration with engineering services, permitting, and construction contracting.   The city of Houston hit me with an unpleasant surprise on a home I just bought. I was lost on what I needed to do. I called Studio Design Build and spoke to Rudy. He explained my situation and gave me possible options with price ranges. He was transparent and took his time explaining everything. He even followed up by providing me phone numbers to other suggested options. Amazing service and very knowledgeable!!!! report abuse

  I was impressed by the professionalism, attention to detail, and promptness of this firm. Most specifically the work of Rudy Del Bosque he is not only extremely knowledgeable with construction within Houston, but also has a design sensibility and a great vision, we felt he was an amazing collaborator and really listened to our design needs. Communication is important when dealing with changes, as they take place on every project, and Rudy was on point every step of the way. I will be using this firm on many future projects!   I recently had the opportunity to work with Rudy while evaluating a potential home purchase that would require material additions to make the project work. Working on a tight timeline, Rudy was able to provide drawings for several versions of the potential build plans, mindful of the various build restrictions, and navigated a timely conversation with the HOA so that I could make a decision on the home purchase before the option period expired. He was forthright about the cost estimate and potential challenges and eagerly met us on site to ensure he understood the project completely.   My husband and I were thrilled to have the opportunity to purchase our first home and remodel this home to fit our design taste and needs. We were introduced to Rudy at Studio Design Build Architecture and were empowered to do just that! Rudy conveniently met us at our new home on a few separate occasions; first to simply listen to our visions and spatial needs. Then, to shore up a few final details around the space. He then designed a beautifully custom set of plans, aided in the permitting of those plans, and allowed us to deliver our plans to the contractor quickly. As the construction began, we were able to call Rudy to ask a few follow up questions and gain his insight. Rudy has exceeded our customer service expectations, committed himself to our project fully, and delivered high quality results with quick turnaround.   I met Rudy when he was searching for a metal roofing contractor on one of his projects in the downtown Houston area.   I found Rudy off of HomeAdvisor as I was looking for an architect to help me complete an unfinished project. I liked his portfolio and was looking forward to working with him. Rudy was super helpful in doing some research and giving me the right advice on the best way to proceed with my project.
