  “We had a really disappointing experience with Brickmoon during our home renovation, and we’d strongly advise against using them if you’re remodeling an existing house. From the start, things felt off – they seemed to be treating our project like a completely new build, despite it being a remodel. We paid a significant upfront retainer, but were told it would take at least six months to finalize the drawings and get the permits approved, which should have been a clear warning sign. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize it at the time, and ended up wasting a lot of money. The communication was incredibly poor; we never received any updates or responses to our concerns. Ultimately, we walked away with just two basic hand-drawn drawings and the original house elevations after paying the entire retainer. Hopefully, our experience can serve as a cautionary tale for others.” report abuse
