I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with this company. What started as a simple popcorn ceiling removal and painting job quickly turned into a nightmare. We paid a significant amount of money – thousands – only to find the work was completely botched and required a completely different professional to fix it, costing us even more. It became clear this individual wasn't a legitimate contractor; he’s unlicensed and uninsured. He made promises of a spotless clean, but instead, he left our house in a bigger mess and vanished without a refund. I believe he’s operating as a con artist, and I’ve been documenting everything with photos and audio recordings. I’ve also noticed a pattern of seemingly fake, overly positive reviews posted by family members – including himself – and I’ve seen him using the name Tressler, which makes me believe this is a coordinated effort to mislead people. Please, be extremely cautious if you come across this company – avoid anyone with that name. I truly hope no one else falls victim to this situation, and I'm determined to get my $650 back.

“Overall, I was extremely disappointed with Carder Drywall and Construction. I had expectations of a professional, fully-equipped company, but the experience was riddled with issues. Midway through the job, the contractor suddenly insisted on cash payment and increased the price – a completely unexpected change. Furthermore, safety protocols weren't followed, as masks weren’t worn, and the work itself was poorly executed. The area they repaired was significantly larger than the original problem, resulting in a cosmetically worse finish with excessive scrap material. The paint job was particularly unprofessional. Adding to the frustration, the contractor repeatedly failed to communicate, ignoring my calls, texts, and emails. He refused to provide his license number, and it was later discovered that the company doesn’t hold any valid licenses with the City of Huntsville. The company address listed online doesn’t appear to exist. I felt like I was dealing with a single, unresponsive individual throughout the entire process, and the lack of professionalism and transparency was unacceptable.”

I cannot recommend this company. My experience was incredibly disappointing and frankly, quite alarming. From the start, they did a terrible job, showed a complete lack of respect for my home and its contents, and ultimately didn’t finish the work they were paid to do. The owner, Tyler Carder, was completely unresponsive and unprofessional – his workers even smoked inside my property. He promised to return to complete the unfinished work, but he never showed up and has since ignored all my attempts to contact him. When I tried to reach him from a different number, he denied it was him, but his accent was unmistakable. It’s clear he’s not reliable and I strongly advise against letting him into your home.

Honestly, we had a really frustrating experience with this company. They were hired to remove the popcorn ceilings, and unfortunately, they didn’t take any precautions to protect our belongings before starting. They left everything covered in popcorn dust, and after they removed it, they simply vacuumed up the mess – essentially spreading the dust around. They promised to clean thoroughly and then paint the ceilings, but they only came once and just mopped, leaving a significant amount of dust smeared on the floor and walls. We spent weeks following up, asking them to fix the missed spots and complete the painting, but it was constant excuses and delays. Ultimately, we had to hire another company to properly repair the work and even deep clean the entire house because of their initial shoddy work. To make matters worse, we later discovered they didn’t actually have a valid business license – we checked with the county and found no record of them.

“I recently used Carder’s for some drywall work, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! My daughter recommended them after they did work on her house, and they really knocked it out of the park – fantastic job and a great price. They were super professional and friendly, and they got the job done really quickly. I’d definitely recommend them!”

“I recently used this business for some remodeling work, and I was really impressed with the whole experience. A coworker recommended them to me, and I completely agree – the owner, Tyler, was fantastic. He was incredibly respectful, friendly, and always willing to help. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone!”
-
Honestly, it’s a bit frustrating that they don’t list a phone number on their website – it makes it really difficult to get in touch and inquire about job opportunities. It feels like a missed opportunity for communication.

“Tyler did an absolutely fantastic job remodeling my bathroom and master bedroom – I couldn’t be happier with the results! I highly recommend him.”
