Honestly, I couldn’t be more disappointed with the work Huntsville Fence Company did for our subdivision. They were hired by the builder, and the fence they installed six years ago is just garbage. From the start, the construction was shoddy, and the materials seemed like they were salvaged. It started warping within a couple of months, and we’ve been patching it up for the last two years with 2x4s and ratchet straps just to keep it from falling down. Now, after a section finally gave way last week, they’re having to tear down the entire fence and build a new one. The 4x4 posts are completely rotten – they weren’t even buried properly, only 14-18 inches, and there was barely any concrete used. It’s unbelievable how this company is still operating.

“I was really pleased with the service – they completed the job quickly and at a reasonable price. Amy, Parker, and Jeff were all fantastic; friendly, approachable, and made the whole experience really easy. Definitely recommend supporting local businesses like this one!”

“I chose this company hoping for a really high-quality fence installation, and I’m so disappointed with the result. After just two years, the fence looks awful and the gate completely broke down. They sent someone to repair it, but it failed again. It felt like the work wasn't done properly, and I struggled to get them to respond. Eventually, I had to hire another company to fix the mess they made – and now I’m stuck paying even more money! It really highlights the importance of doing your research before choosing a contractor.”

“I was really impressed with the quality of the work – everything was perfectly straight and the finish was beautiful. And to top it off, the price was fair. The initial setup process could have been a little smoother, but once the final product was done, it was fantastic. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone in the Natures Walk on the Flint community in Owens Cross Roads – it’s a great job overall!”

“I’m incredibly disappointed with the quality of work Legacy Homes and Huntsville Fence Co. delivered on this fence. The fence was installed three years ago and, from the start, it’s been plagued with issues. They didn’t allow the stain to dry properly, and the posts were constantly wobbly. Unfortunately, there was no warranty coverage when the warping became a serious problem, and the contractor, Huntsville Fence Co., didn’t account for wood movement. After numerous attempts to get them to inspect the fence, I never heard back. Then, just last weekend, we experienced some strong winds, and a section of the fence, including half of our double gate, was completely destroyed – a 6x6 post just sheared off at the ground. To make matters worse, the posts themselves were shockingly shallow – only about a foot in the ground with hardly any concrete or gravel underneath. I had to practically pull one out with a tow strap. It’s clear this was a poorly executed job, and I’m extremely frustrated with the lack of quality and the complete failure to address the ongoing problems.”

“Parker was fantastic – he responded quickly to my request for a fence repair and did a really solid job at a price that felt fair. I’d definitely recommend him.”

“We were really pleased with the whole experience. The price was fantastic, and the team were incredibly communicative throughout. Installation was quick and exactly as we’d hoped. We’d been referred by a previous customer, and we’ve already recommended them to our friends!”

“I’m incredibly disappointed with this company. Based on a recommendation, I chose them for my new fence, and it’s already falling apart – it looks like a ten-year-old fence after just ten months! The materials are clearly cheap, and the staining is peeling off. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend going with them; it’s a big mistake if you’re looking for quality work.”

“Huntsville Fence truly impressed us. They have a classic, reliable approach and consistently deliver high-quality work – no cutting corners, just solid execution. What really stood out was their attention to detail; they tackled the fencing project efficiently and didn’t make any excuses. Notably, they were the only company we worked with who ensured our gates didn’t sag, demonstrating a commitment to lasting quality. It’s easy to criticize without experience, but Huntsville Fence clearly prioritizes getting the job done right, and we wholeheartedly give them an A+.”

“I hired Huntsville Fence to install a wood fence in April, and unfortunately, it’s been a huge disappointment. They installed the fence directly on top of my sprinkler system, and now my patio floods every time it rains. Even worse, the boards started warping and pulling away shortly after, and despite months of contacting them to fix these problems, I’ve just been passed around with no real resolution – basically told it’s “on Jeff’s desk.” I wouldn’t recommend Huntsville Fence to anyone.”
