  “I can’t recommend Calco Fence and As You Like it Landscaping highly enough. We were so thrilled with their work! Our old fence was a complete mess – completely overgrown with brush and trees. Calco tackled the whole job with ease, clearing everything out and then installing a gorgeous new fence. It was fantastic that they could handle both the brush removal and the fencing; most companies only offered one service, so it was a really simple decision to go with Calco.   “I can’t recommend Calco for your fencing needs. We hired them based on a referral from our contractor, but it was a really frustrating experience. We initially contacted them in July and still didn’t receive a quote until mid-September – and even then, it was just from one person, Steve Byrd, who’s also the operations manager. He was incredibly unresponsive, and it took weeks to get a simple phone call back. He seemed to make a lot of excuses, which felt unprofessional, and he was actually quite rude when he finally called us back after we’d contacted the main office. Ultimately, we had to go with another company who were much more efficient – they quoted, installed, and finished within two weeks. Honestly, it felt like they weren’t keen on taking on our project.” report abuse

  “I’ve been incredibly impressed with Calco Fence – they originally installed my wood picket fence over 18 years ago and did a fantastic job then. Recently, though, after years of weather, some of the posts had started to rot and the fence was leaning dangerously. When I called to get it repaired, Calco was really responsive. They asked for photos to assess the situation and the type of pickets, which I thought was a smart use of modern technology. They sent out Jeff, who gave me a clear estimate and timeline, though it was unfortunately a few weeks out due to a busy spring season. I asked to be put on a waiting list in case something opened up sooner, and they were happy to accommodate me, understanding my concerns about the fence’s stability and potential safety issues with kids playing nearby. There were a couple of delays – the initial schedule didn’t work out, and then another job ran into complications. But what really stood out was their communication throughout the whole process. They kept me updated and apologized for the issues. Finally, on Monday morning, they arrived and completely repaired the fence to a really high standard. It’s clear they genuinely care about their work and providing good service. You don't always find contractors who take the time to explain what's happening, and I wholeheartedly recommend Calco Fence.” report abuse
