  I was so impressed with this place! I wasn’t really looking for a team environment, but it turned out to be a fantastic resource for me – I was searching for a gentle way to get back into the water and exercise after spinal surgery. They offer water aerobics and water walking, plus lap swim lanes, and the fees are really reasonable for both Irvine and non-Irvine residents. Everyone there was incredibly professional and friendly, and the pools were spotless. It’s clear they’re taking all the necessary safety precautions with COVID too – a truly wonderful discovery! report abuse

  Overall, this is a really great aquatics center – definitely one of the nicest I’ve seen in Southern California. They have two impressive Olympic-sized pools alongside a separate junior pool, which makes it really well-equipped for all levels of swimmers. It’s fantastic to see it’s a hub for local teams like Novaquatics and the Irvine High School swim team. Parking can be a bit tricky at times, but there’s usually plenty of overflow parking available in the back. report abuse

  “I’ve been a member for a year now and really enjoy the facility itself – it’s a great space. However, I’ve consistently found it difficult to make reservations, and the online booking system is pretty clunky. Also, the bathrooms could use a bit more attention to cleanliness.” report abuse

  “The team handled the shift to new swim training procedures during COVID with a really thoughtful and professional approach. It was expected that there would be a few bumps along the way as they adjusted to the evolving guidelines from local authorities, but we truly appreciate all their hard work in keeping our kids active and swimming!” report abuse

  “The underwater hockey program is fantastic – it’s really a lot of fun! If you’re looking for something different to do, we’re offering sessions every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7 to 9 during January. Give the pool a call to find out more.” report abuse
