  Overall, we’ve been really pleased with our Helios solar generator array – it’s been in place for over a year now. From the start, Helios did a fantastic job assessing our needs and designing the system’s scale and layout, and they were also quick to address a couple of defective panels. I especially want to thank Connor for going above and beyond to help us overcome a telecommunications issue at our site; he really worked hard to get us a workable internet connection so we could monitor our solar generation. While Michigan weather can certainly be a challenge – last spring was particularly cloudy – we’re still seeing good credit accumulation during the sunnier months. If you’re prepared to invest upfront and have the right physical space, I wholeheartedly recommend Helios Solar LLC. They’ve completely met my expectations for this project, and I want to extend a big thank you to Connor, Sam, and the whole team for their support. report abuse

Connor was fantastic – he was incredibly knowledgeable about solar power and the laws surrounding it, and he patiently answered all of our questions. He handled everything so efficiently, from creating the initial proposal to managing all the paperwork and follow-up. The installation itself went perfectly smoothly, and everything is working great.   “I’ve been running solar for a long time – over 25 years as a builder – and learned pretty quickly to watch out for things. My initial solar installation, ten years ago, was a classic case of being an early adopter, and the company ended up going out of business. Thankfully, things turned around when I needed service. I was really impressed with Helios and especially with Connor. When the original installers showed up with no safety equipment for my steep roof, I immediately stopped them, and thankfully, that was a huge red flag. After a few years, three of my Enphase inverters and the monitoring unit failed, and Connor stepped in to replace them quickly and efficiently. It’s like working with any contractor – you want someone you can trust. Connor and his crew were incredibly professional, coordinated, and took fantastic care of my property. They were also committed to safety, which was a huge difference from what I’d experienced before. More recently, another inverter failed, and Connor handled everything – getting Enphase to send a replacement under warranty – with ease. He even took the time to explain why those early inverters were prone to failure, which was fascinating and really demonstrated his knowledge. It’s clear they have the expertise you need for solar, and I’ve been incredibly happy with their friendly service, quick response times, and overall commitment to customer satisfaction.
