  I had a really frustrating experience with this company. I originally got a quote for a gate repair a year ago that was significantly higher than others, and I decided not to go with them then. When my gate needed another repair recently, I reached out, but they completely ignored me for three days. Then, they told me they wouldn’t service me because I hadn’t used them before. It felt incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional – they didn’t even bother to let me know they wouldn’t be able to help, and there was no attempt to apologize.   Ludwin, the residential electrician we worked with, was absolutely fantastic. We recently moved into a townhome in DC and he handled a project converting all 17 of our ceiling lights to LED – which involved removing the old commercial fixtures. He was incredibly helpful, offering great feedback on our ideas during his visit, even though he’s not a designer. He was professional, punctual, and took really good care of our home, being mindful of our work and keeping everything clean. He went above and beyond, even bringing a dust pan and broom with him. He was also very transparent, answering all our questions and clearly focused on the job. It was really appreciated that he took extra precautions with masking to protect his other clients. The installer, Dave Madden, was quite difficult to work with – he came across as dismissive and even aggressive, and he added items to the bill that weren’t actually needed. It felt like he wasn’t respecting my understanding of the project. When I raised concerns, others from the company seemed to acknowledge repeated complaints about his behavior. The owner eventually contacted me after several calls, but his response focused solely on the fine print of the warranty, which hadn't been what was initially discussed. Despite offering to escalate the issue, I still haven’t received an update. Ultimately, we had to take our business elsewhere – it was a frustrating and uncomfortable experience.” report abuse
