  Overall, we were really pleased with Albaugh and Sons. They provided an estimate that aligned with our expectations, and everyone we dealt with was incredibly friendly and helpful. The deck renovation went exactly as planned – they stuck to the agreed-upon timeline and the workmanship is truly outstanding; it looks fantastic!   We were absolutely thrilled with the work Albaugh & Sons did for us this summer – both the fence installation and the kitchen cabinet painting. Seriously, the quality of their work was outstanding. The fence looks fantastic, and they were incredibly careful, leaving our yard spotless. And the painters were amazing too – so quiet and respectful, we barely noticed they were there, which was a huge relief since my husband and I both work from home. Working with Brooks was a pleasure; he was always so responsive and kept both projects running really smoothly.   “I was really disappointed with the final result after A & S did some work on my deck and fence. Initially, they leveled the deck, which was a significant expense. However, shortly after, the stairs separated by an inch, and the railing was incredibly wobbly – definitely not up to code. I contacted them and it took six weeks for someone to finally come out, and he was incredibly rude and dismissive, making it seem like it was my fault. He did a very poor, temporary fix with just a couple of pieces of trim, and basically offered to leave it as is. Honestly, it was clear that a much more thorough job was needed – the entire side trim needed replacing and the stairs needed to be properly adjusted. It’s frustrating to have to wait so long and then receive such a substandard, unprofessional fix. I wish I’d been more attentive, but this was a completely unacceptable experience, and I certainly won’t be recommending A & S to anyone.” report abuse

  We couldn't be happier with the deck Albaugh & Sons built for us! From start to finish, they were fantastic. The deck itself looks absolutely stunning, and they completed the job quickly and efficiently. What really stood out was their commitment to quality – they used fantastic materials like Trex decking and beautiful vinyl railings, and everything is backed by a great warranty. They handled everything – from getting the permits with Frederick County to coordinating with Miss Utility – with such professionalism and care. The crew was friendly, punctual, and really went above and beyond. Honestly, Albaugh & Sons is by far the best contractor we’ve ever worked with, and we wholeheartedly recommend them for any home improvement project! report abuse

  I absolutely love my deck – it was built almost two years ago and it’s still looking fantastic! I recently contacted them about a couple of small issues with the PVC corners, and I was so impressed with how quickly and efficiently they took care of it. Honestly, their responsiveness and willingness to help has completely won me over.   “We’d already had a really positive experience with Albaugh & Son’s back in 2017 when they redid our deck, so we knew we could trust them. We hired them to redo the back section of our fence on our townhome, and they were fantastic – the job was done in just over two and a half hours, and they even took the time to reinstall the street numbers on the gate.
