  “I hired Prime Engineering back in the fall of 2021 to handle a straightforward subdivision project in Rochester, MA. I put down a $6,000 retainer, and they assured me it would be finished by late November. Unfortunately, it’s now December 2022 and I still haven’t received anything from the project as promised. They’ve only seemed good at sending invoices and collecting my payments – they’ve charged me over $18,000 so far. This has turned into a really frustrating legal battle, and I’m now working with another engineering firm to get things resolved. Honestly, I cannot recommend Prime Engineering to anyone. It’s been a terrible experience.” report abuse

  I’m so incredibly disappointed with this company. They completely lost their way, and I ended up losing my money – they took my deposit and haven’t returned a single phone call in four months, even though I called every week. I had no choice but to hire a different company for half the price, and they finished the job in just three weeks. It was a terrible experience. report abuse

  My stepdad hired Prime Engineering, specifically Mr. Rheaume, to design a boardwalk for a project in our town, following a successful boardwalk design they’d done in Somerset. We were really impressed with their work and hoped for a similar outcome. We met with Rich in September 2018, and he agreed to take on the job. He provided us with paperwork from a previous project as a template. However, we waited and waited – about six weeks – with no updates, and then were told the plans were nearly complete by Christmas. Christmas came and went without any materials, and when we finally contacted them after the holidays, we were given the same incorrect documents. We even went to the office ourselves, but Rich seemed to have simply disappeared with the original files. It was incredibly frustrating and felt like a complete waste of time. Honestly, a simple apology and a request for a new copy would have been much appreciated. I wouldn't recommend Prime Engineering until they improve their communication and administrative processes. report abuse
