  I was really disappointed with my experience with Scott and Pool Service MD. I’d been recommended them after my previous service guys retired, and I scheduled an opening for May 18th. Unfortunately, Scott didn’t show up or even call on that day, and I couldn’t get in touch with him – his phone was down. After a frustrating wait, I finally reached him about five days later, and we managed to reschedule for June 3rd. However, I waited again all day on that date and he still didn’t appear. Now I’m stuck because I can’t get my pool opened until after the 4th of July with another service. report abuse

  “Scott was incredibly unprofessional. He closed our pool last fall of 2019, took our filter without asking, and completely ignored our agreed-upon opening date. After finally answering his phone and promising to come the next day, he never showed up and has since disappeared – no calls, no emails. Honestly, if you’re looking for someone who won’t respond and treats your property like it’s their own, then he might be a good fit. But if you value respect and reliable service, you should look elsewhere.” report abuse

  I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Pool Service MD. They completely botched the job of replacing our pool plaster, coping, and tile, and I ended up paying in full only to be left with a substandard result. They used the wrong coping that isn’t compatible with our automatic pool cover – something a professional contractor should have identified. When I brought it to their attention, I was given a dismissive “sorry” and no real solution. Now I’m stuck paying another company to fix their mistakes. Honestly, it felt like a one-person operation with no attention to quality or customer satisfaction. I also couldn’t verify their licensing or find a MHIC number, which raised serious concerns about their legitimacy. report abuse

  “I contacted Scott in February after hearing such positive feedback, but unfortunately my experience hasn’t been great. I’ve had two no-shows and he was over an hour late for one appointment, meaning I’d already left. While I’m sure Scott is a skilled technician, based on my experience, he didn’t seem to respect my time, which is a significant concern for me.” report abuse

  Scott and his crew did an absolutely fantastic job winterizing my pool – the service was excellent and he kept me really well-informed throughout the whole process. I’d definitely recommend them and will be using Montgomery County Pool Service again in the future. report abuse
