  “We had a really frustrating experience when the power went out to half our house. After calling the power company, they assured us everything was back on, but it wasn’t. Getting an electrician out was going to take at least 24 hours, which was incredibly inconvenient. However, Piper responded so quickly – they were there in under two hours, fixed the main breaker, and were gone in a flash. Honestly, their service was fantastic, and Sue in the office was wonderful too. We’re so grateful for their fast and professional help!” report abuse

  Piper were fantastic! We had a really bad storm that ripped our power wire off the house, but they came out the same day and quickly fixed it – reattached the conduit and installed a new weather tip. It was all done in about half an hour, and the final price was even better than we were quoted. We’ll absolutely be using them again. report abuse

  “I was so incredibly impressed with the service I received when a tree limb fell on my house during a storm. I contacted my local power company and they quickly connected me with this company, who responded immediately. They arrived within an hour or two and worked tirelessly through the whole storm, dealing with cracking limbs and everything.   I had a really frustrating experience with Piper. I called to inquire about a specific test and the woman who answered was incredibly rude and immediately told me they couldn’t assist me. My contractor then had to call back to ask about scheduling, and it took three attempts to finally get a response – they said they could do the test in two weeks. Now, it’s been twelve days, and I haven’t heard back from them at all. They then completely dropped the ball by informing me, on the thirteenth day, that they weren’t going to perform the test at all! The worst part is they didn’t even bother to call me to let me know they were cancelling. It was completely unprofessional and, honestly, the worst service I’ve ever received. report abuse

  I had a really frustrating experience with this electrical company. I hired them to run a single wire from my garage heat sensors to connect with my smoke alarms – a simple job needed to get a certificate for selling my house. But they completely overcharged me. They billed me for three hours, but the actual work only took about two. I brought it up with the owner, and he initially denied charging for travel time, claiming it was standard practice. When I pointed out that this hadn't been discussed or included in the initial quote, he dismissed my concerns. Then, to make matters worse, their receptionist hung up on me, and the owner insisted she wouldn’t do that – despite my clear recollection of the conversation. After a long and unproductive discussion, I reluctantly agreed to pay $2.50 for the work, but the whole experience felt incredibly unprofessional and deceptive. Honestly, this company seems to value their long history over treating customers fairly, and I would strongly advise anyone considering using them to steer clear. report abuse
