  My buisness had gotten the opportunity to work with Travis B. and we had nothing but a great experience with him. We was on top of his game with the project timelines, payment's, SOW, and he really had an understanding for the quality of his project's.   Lipservice company. Promises bonuses but doesn't pay them. Throws party for making $1M profit on a job but can't pay the bonus they promise at hiring? Not just me either, several other superintendents said the same thing. I was given paperwork at orientation that says I'd get a bonus. My attorney read it and said "if they didn't intend to pay you the bonus then they should not have given you this document." I ultimately quit due to it not being a good environment for a woman in the field. No one can answer questions without talking to Ethan first, and then he doesn't return calls, so...you'll love it at first, until the wool falls off your eyes. report abuse

  I've been here only a few months and so far love working at Parkway. So far, they've allowed me to get the experience I want designing closely with our Operations ("Build") team. Not a lot of architectural firms offer that close of a design-build relationship with their GCs, let alone have the construction knowledge or resources our team here has to design + build a great final product. Lastly, the people are amazing and always so open. Can't wait to get a few more months under my belt; I'll update at that point in time. report abuse

  Parkway is a great place to work. It’s a midsize general contractor that has grown significantly the last 10 years but has successfully maintained keeping a tight knit family / smaller business feel. Its values of integrity, trust, and respect outweigh all else and are its recipe to success. I’ve been here for about 8 years now and have enjoyed the culture that has lead to some real friendships and great career growth. If you are looking to work somewhere where employees are treated like friends/family, where development is encouraged, and where doing the right things outweighs doing the profitable thing, then Parkway would be a good fit. report abuse

  I am truly able to say that Parkway embodies their mission to develop people. I have been the recipient of growth opportunities to hone my profession when other companies would have hired-in someone else or categorized the experience as poor performance. Here they understand that via those challenges comes improvement and the gift of discernment. Allowing me the chance to be better, do better, and feel respected.   If you are a sub contractor, avoid this company. Like everyone else mentions, they don’t pay. If you are a business considering Parkway, just know that they try to worm their way out of paying their contractors. Terrible company, terrible people, terrible ethics. Only positive review they have here is from their employee/former employee, which is the only reason why their whole page isn’t 1 star. It’s not good practice to let employees leave a review, but nothing this company does is good practice or in good faith. Run if you ever hear “Parkway Construction”. report abuse
