  Laurie and her team at Ernie’s did an absolutely fantastic job with the town’s waterline replacement. They were incredibly knowledgeable, always honest, and really focused on making sure I was taken care of throughout the whole process – from getting the initial estimate to dealing with the town.   Ernie’s Excavating did a fantastic job installing our new septic system – they were incredibly professional from start to finish. They really listened to our needs and concerns, and their estimates were spot on. It was great working with them and our designer, and they even coordinated perfectly with the town’s Board of Health. I originally found them through a neighbor’s recommendation, and I wholeheartedly recommend them. Honestly, I hope you don’t need to hire them, but if you do, you can be sure they’ll make the whole process a lot smoother than it might otherwise be. report abuse

  I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I just wanted to say how incredibly pleased I was with Ernie’s Excavating. They did an absolutely fantastic job installing my new septic system – it was delivered on time, within budget, and with absolutely no unexpected disruptions. Laurie was fantastic about keeping me informed every step of the way, letting me know in advance about any potential delays and when I could get back to my normal routine. Ernie himself is a true professional; he’s incredibly knowledgeable and really skilled at maneuvering that big equipment, especially in tight spots. You could tell he takes a lot of pride in his work, and the final result is just beautiful. My dog, Teddy, even wanted me to let Laurie know he’d love for her to stop by and give him a scratch! report abuse

  Ernie’s Excavating did a fantastic job for us. They were really helpful in getting a fair and accurate estimate for installing a new water line to our commercial building, and the team finished the work quickly and with a really professional attitude. Everyone was so friendly too – it was a great experience overall, and we especially appreciate their reliable snow plowing services; knowing we can count on them for that is a huge relief.   We were absolutely thrilled with Ernie’s Excavating & Septic Service! We hired them in June of 2025 to install a new septic system at our mother-in-law’s house in Concord, MA, and we’re so glad we did. They were incredibly efficient – Ernie got right to work and finished the entire job, including the tank, D-box, and leaching field, plus connecting two buildings and a laundry, in just three days! Laurie was fantastic too, keeping us updated regularly via text and phone. They were really considerate, minimizing any disruption to our water usage and taking great care of the garden and patio. When an unexpected issue arose that wasn't their fault, they were upfront and handled it quickly and professionally.   Ernie’s Excavating was fantastic to work with. Laurie was amazing from the very beginning – she was so helpful and really took the initiative to ensure everything ran smoothly for us. We had a really tight deadline getting a new septic system installed before closing on our house, and it was all new territory for us. Laurie did a brilliant job keeping us informed every step of the way, explaining everything clearly and setting realistic expectations.
