  Overall, we were incredibly pleased with Dolphin Insulation. We started with a Mass Save energy assessment and then selected them as our contractor. The crew was fantastic – truly professional, really friendly and helpful, and they were always prompt and took great care to clean up after themselves each day. The project ended up being a bit bigger than originally anticipated because Dolphin wisely recommended removing our old insulation, which had significant mold and evidence of rodents. They clearly explained the benefits of this removal, and honestly, it was an easy decision for us. We wish Mass Save had suggested the removal as well, as they don’t cover that expense. It would have helped us with our budgeting. Despite that, we’re so happy with the final result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dolphin to anyone needing insulation work – the office staff and the field crew were both amazing throughout the entire process. report abuse

  Overall, my experience with Dolphin was really disappointing. They initially seemed like a positive company – friendly and eager to help with the insulation estimate. However, it turned out they’d stopped working with MassSave, which meant I couldn’t claim my rebates. Worse than that, they never informed me of this change, and when I contacted them to express my disappointment, they didn’t respond at all. Because of this lack of communication and responsiveness, I wouldn’t consider using them in the future, regardless of any potential rebates. report abuse

  “We were really pleased with the insulation work Dolphin Insulation did for our new home through the MassSave program. They did a fantastic job and the insulation itself was top-notch. However, unfortunately, during the process, some of our house’s siding was damaged – we didn’t have any spare shingles since we’d just purchased the property. We had to sign a disclaimer stating that Dolphin wasn’t responsible for any damage during the installation, which was frustrating, especially as a new homeowner. Now we’re facing a significant expense to replace the entire siding, and it’s unclear who will take responsibility – either MassSave or Dolphin. It seems like someone needs to step in and resolve this.” report abuse

From the very beginning, Chris was fantastic – he took the time to really explain all my options and thoughtfully considered the unique challenges of our space, especially with the high-velocity AC and tight ductwork. He was also incredibly helpful navigating the process with MassSave. Amanda was always so responsive and friendly, and the installation team was truly outstanding. They were professional, polite, and incredibly considerate of my kids. What really impressed me was their attention to detail – they left the work area spotless, which is rare! There was a slight shift in approach towards the end, but the explanation was clear and professional, and I knew they were making the best decision. The whole project wrapped up quickly, and Amanda kept me completely in the loop with MassSave. Honestly, I’d contacted several other companies before finding Dolphin, and I’m so glad we did.   Dolphin Insulation was fantastic – they were, without a doubt, the best of the six companies I contacted. What really set them apart was their focus on air sealing; they were the only ones who understood the importance of removing the old insulation to ensure a truly effective job. They even went the extra mile by conducting pre and post blower door tests, which I found incredibly reassuring. The team was genuinely friendly, professional, and clearly motivated to deliver a top-quality result – it was great to see their enthusiasm matched my own when we finally saw the positive impact of the blower door test.   Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with Dolphin Insulation. From the very beginning, they felt like a genuinely trustworthy company – Karen was fantastic, so approachable and knowledgeable, and Chris and Dustin really went above and beyond with the actual work. They efficiently removed my old insulation, tackled the floorboards, and installed the new cellulose, and it was all done in just three days! It’s clear they’re dedicated to doing a great job, and they kept me updated with photos throughout the process, ensuring everything was done properly and without any shortcuts.
