  Dave and his team did a good job with the concrete work on my driveway and porch, but unfortunately, there was a significant amount of mess left behind – including my windows, doors, bricks, garage, and mailbox. While they worked hard to clean it up, it was too late to fully resolve the issue. I appreciate their effort, but I think they could have taken more precautions to minimize the mess. It was a tough situation for me, and I’m learning to be more proactive in protecting my property during projects like this. report abuse

  I’ve been incredibly pleased with Evangelista Masonry Co. – I’ve actually hired them three times now! They did a fantastic job installing a new concrete approach for my driveway, tuckpointed my entire house, and even added a beautiful address stone that really boosted my curb appeal. More recently, they repaired and tuckpointed my chimney, along with some other brick and cement repairs. What really stood out was the owner’s integrity and honesty. The price was unbelievably reasonable – well under $800, which was significantly less than the $3500 another company quoted me, who wanted to completely rebuild the chimney! And it was cheaper than getting two separate contractors to do the same work. They even took the time to properly grind out the mortar instead of just patching it over. I wholeheartedly recommend Evangelista Masonry Company and I’d definitely use them again. report abuse

  Honestly, I was really disappointed with this business. The name is misleading, and the service seemed incredibly unreliable – they basically told me they might not even show up. Considering the Inkster address is a good distance away from their Livonia location, and they don't seem to offer service in surrounding areas like Garden City and Dearborn Heights, I wouldn't recommend using them. It felt like a waste of money, and I'll be taking my business elsewhere. report abuse

They took on a relatively small repair job that other companies wouldn’t have touched, and they handled it brilliantly – communicating clearly, working quickly and expertly, and offering a fair price.   “We were really pleased with the work done on our chimney – they did a fantastic job of restoring it. They quickly and efficiently removed the old coating, replaced the damaged cap pieces, and did a thorough tuck pointing.   This company was incredibly disappointing. I contacted them about a job, and the representative essentially dismissed it immediately based on a vague concern about a single contractor’s fear of heights and a massive 6-8 week backlog. They didn’t even consider sending someone out to assess the job – it felt completely unprofessional and like they’d already made up their minds to turn me down.   “I had the work done at my address two years ago, and unfortunately, the finish has significantly faded and looks much worse now. I was initially told it would even out as it dried, but that hasn’t happened, and it’s become a bigger problem over time.” report abuse
