  “I’ve been a loyal swimmer here for ages, and I genuinely love the pool itself – it’s fantastic. However, the overall experience is let down by really poor management. The men’s locker rooms are consistently dirty, and it seems the staff aren’t paying much attention to them. I’ve often seen attendants just lounging around instead of doing their jobs. The showers are also constantly leaking, which is a bit concerning given the ongoing drought. Beyond that, the staff seem completely disorganized; it’s consistently difficult to get clear information, and it gets significantly worse during the summer when they bring in interns. You’ll get conflicting answers from everyone, and many of the signs are outdated or just plain wrong. The website is rarely updated, and their social media presence is practically non-existent. It would be great to see updates on pool closures and events, but they rarely provide any. Honestly, this pool is just poorly run – I think it’s probably the worst-managed pool I’ve encountered in LA County. Despite that, the pool itself is wonderful once you actually get in.” report abuse

  I absolutely loved this place! It was really well-maintained and they took great care in ensuring the pool was clean – everyone had to shower before entering. They had lockers for belongings, which was super convenient. Definitely deserving of 5 stars! report abuse

  “I was absolutely thrilled with the service I received! The technician was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly – he really went the extra mile to fix my furnace issue.   Overall, this public pool is a really great place to go! It’s consistently clean, with lifeguards on duty and a well-maintained pool and deck. I especially appreciated the free bag check – it’s handy for rec swim. They do have rules about personal belongings on the deck, which helps keep things comfortable and prevents overcrowding, and there’s a good selection of swimming programs for all ages. If you’re looking for lap swimming, there are plenty of lanes available. report abuse

  “It’s a really interesting venue – it’s right by the Colosseum and was originally built for the 1932 Summer Olympics. Sadly, I wasn’t able to get inside, but it’s still a fantastic spot to see.” report abuse

  “I really enjoy the pool when it’s open – it’s a fantastic facility. However, the hours are a bit frustrating. Those 1-4 pm family hours, while appreciated, feel like a really limited time slot, especially considering how beautiful the pool is. It’s disappointing to find it closed for private events with no warning, even on weekends. And frankly, it’s a shame it’s often unavailable during the week. It’s a real missed opportunity for the community, especially for serious lap swimmers who would really appreciate the longer hours.” report abuse
