From start to finish, the entire process was incredibly smooth – they handled everything from the initial inspection and bid to the final completion and permit sign-off with such ease. Overall, we had a really positive experience with JC Retrofit. They were fantastic from the start – reliable, offered a competitive price, and even helped us navigate the entire grant application process. They took care of most of the paperwork, so we just had to cover the remaining balance. We’d definitely recommend them.

J&C Retrofit were fantastic – honestly, the only company of the four I contacted who didn’t try to upsell me on a bunch of unnecessary work. We had a really serious problem with our raised floor in the living room; it was incredibly wobbly, and we even noticed it while watching the Lakers! We found out our entire living room was only supported by one post that was almost completely detached. It was terrifying to think how much damage could have occurred if it had just shifted a little more. The other companies quoted us thousands to install a whole network of beams and posts – completely overkill. Juan at J&C understood the situation perfectly. He recommended just a couple of support posts and one beam, and thankfully, he was right. He arrived on Saturday morning as promised, and the job was done in just two hours for $2500. Now our living room floor is solid and doesn’t shake at all. It’s a huge relief, and I really appreciate their honest approach and efficient service – it’s great knowing we can finally enjoy the Lakers without worrying about the floor collapsing!

Juan doesn’t seem to take his role seriously. He’s been consistently unresponsive to calls and frankly, dismissive about the importance of professional communication. It’s concerning and frankly, unprofessional.
