Honestly, I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with LA Solar and their installation of my Enphase system. From the very beginning, communication was a huge problem – they struggled to respond to my questions and seemed to have trouble coordinating with each other. The installation process itself took far longer than expected, due to delays with permits and time off, and I constantly had to chase them down to address issues with the Enphase hardware. The system was down for nearly a month after we finally got it running, and despite multiple visits to troubleshoot, it’s still not functioning as it should. The battery isn’t backing up the correct appliances, and it’s not powering certain loads as promised. I've repeatedly asked them to fix these problems, but my requests have been ignored. Because of this, I’ve filed a complaint with the state contractor board, and I wouldn’t recommend either LA Solar or Enphase hardware to anyone.

“I had LA Solar install my solar system back in September 2019, and everything went incredibly smoothly – there were no problems at all. However, in November 2024, six of my twelve panels stopped producing electricity. I reached out to Enphase, who had provided the micro inverters and solar app, and they determined it was due to a surge that had damaged the inverters. LA Solar responded quickly and sent a technician to inspect the damage and send pictures to Enphase. Eventually, Enphase approved a warranty claim and sent replacement inverters. It took about two weeks for the whole process to be completed, which was surprisingly fast considering I’d read about other companies experiencing much longer delays. While the initial installation had a couple of small issues – one bracket was missing, and one panel wasn’t perfectly flush – LA Solar addressed it promptly the next day, and thankfully, all the panels are now working great. I really appreciate how quickly LA Solar resolved this for me.”

Here’s a natural-sounding evaluation based on the provided text: “I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with LASolar. I had my solar system installed by Barnes Solar back in 2021, and since then, my SCE bills have been steadily increasing. It took me six months of frustrating calls and emails to figure out that the inverter wasn’t functioning correctly, completely halting power production. When I contacted Barnes Solar to investigate, I was shocked to learn that LASolar had taken over the company. Initially, they struggled to confirm my account details, and it took weeks of persistent communication with Sophia to finally identify the issue and get parts ordered. Then, after a seven-day wait, Sophia informed me my account was under review, and ultimately, LASolar refused to honor the warranty from the original Barnes Solar installation, stating they didn’t take over the warranties.”

“I can’t recommend LA Solar – our experience has been utterly disastrous. From the moment they installed our solar panels, things went wrong, and they consistently tried to shift the blame onto us. They broke nearly 70% of our roof tiles during the installation, and then claimed the subsequent leaks weren’t their fault. After a huge amount of hassle – over two months of frustrating calls, being hung up on, and endless back-and-forth – they finally re-tiled the damaged roof, but the leaks persisted. We ended up spending thousands of dollars to repair the damage they caused, and they offered no compensation. Throughout the entire process, they refused to take responsibility, repeatedly blaming us for the problems, and even sent an inspector instead of a roofer to try and avoid fixing the issue. They haven’t been able to provide us with contact information for the roofer they used last year, despite us repeatedly asking for help. Now, we’re dealing with water damage in our walls and floors, and they’re still insisting it’s our fault because of heavy rainfall. It’s been a nightmare, costing us time, money, and causing immense stress. We’re seriously considering legal action to get our family back what they’ve lost. Avoid LA Solar – they’re completely irresponsible and negligent. If you get a quote from them, add at least 30% extra to account for the potential damage they’ll cause, and be prepared for a lot of wasted time and frustration.”

Overall, we’re really pleased with LA Solar Company. We’ve had our system installed for about two years now and it’s been a fantastic experience. They did a very clean and efficient job, and importantly, they were completely focused on our needs – they didn’t try to push any unnecessary upgrades. We’ve actually recommended them to some friends who were also looking for a solar solution.

“Overall, the process went really smoothly and we saw a noticeable difference in our monthly bill right away – which was fantastic. We’re so pleased we were able to install solar and contribute to a more sustainable future.”

“I was really impressed with this company. From the very first contact, they were incredibly easy to work with and incredibly professional. They were so knowledgeable and didn't push any sales, which I really appreciated. The workmanship was top-notch – truly high quality – and they left the whole area spotless. I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone!”

“I had a really terrible experience with this company. When I called to get a quote for solar panels, the person who answered was incredibly rude and didn’t seem to care about my needs. I’m so glad I didn’t go ahead and hire them.”
-
“Overall, it was a really helpful initial estimate. It gave me a good sense of what a solar system could look like for my house – a solid starting point for figuring things out.”
