  Chris and his team did a fantastic job renovating our older farmhouse – it was originally built way back in the 1940s! We really appreciated how professional they were and how they worked closely with us throughout the whole project, especially given all the unexpected challenges we encountered.   Chris did an absolutely fantastic job guiding us through our recent home addition – the two-story addition and walk-in closet. He’s built a really strong reputation over the years, consistently using the same reliable building crews, and they all worked incredibly well, even with the challenges of COVID restrictions. Chris expertly managed all the materials and construction during that time, and we experienced absolutely no delays. Beyond just the work itself, he’s been fantastic at keeping us informed and answering all of our questions, and we’ve already recommended him to several neighbors impressed by his work and competitive pricing. report abuse

  Overall, we were extremely pleased with North Star Company’s work remodeling our basement. Chris was fantastic – he really went above and beyond, offering us solutions and ideas we hadn’t even considered from other contractors. The team’s experience shone through in the quality of their work, particularly the significant plumbing and electrical modifications they handled, including moving the gas meter, power panel, and boiler. We found their quotes to be very reasonable and the whole project was meticulously detailed. We’re so glad we chose North Star Company and would definitely recommend them. report abuse

  “Chris and his team were absolutely incredible. After a really frustrating experience with a previous contractor, I was hesitant to even move forward, but Chris completely restored my faith. He not only finished the work the others had started, but he actually improved it! They remodeled my entire main floor – kitchen, family room, den, and bathroom – and Chris himself was just a genuinely awesome guy.   I couldn’t be happier with the remodel Northstar Company did on my townhouse back in 2017. I signed the contract, entrusted Chris Marshall with my keys, and spent the winter in Florida, confident everything was in good hands. When I returned, I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the work – it’s still getting rave reviews three years later! More recently, we discovered some black mold in the bathroom, but Chris responded immediately to help us figure out the issue. He even went above and beyond, climbing on my handrail to investigate a leak. It turned out the problem stemmed from a neighbor’s roof repair, and after their crew fixed the issue and a termite contractor completed their work, everything was expertly patched and painted – the bathroom looks completely new. Honestly, I wholeheartedly recommend Northstar Company; they’re a contractor you can truly trust, even long after the project is finished. report abuse

  Overall, we were really pleased with the work North Star Companies did renovating our house. They did a fantastic job and were incredibly accommodating throughout the project, especially when we needed to make some changes along the way.   Chris was a lifesaver! I found him through Yelp and after reading Eddie’s review, I knew I’d found the right guy. I didn’t have a huge problem at the time, but when I needed to have baseboards removed for a new pantry, I immediately thought of him. He was so patient and helpful over the phone, and he even scheduled a visit for that Saturday. Then, just a few days before, I had a complete hot water outage – and thankfully, Chris stepped in. I called another plumber who just immediately told me I needed a new water heater for $1,500! Chris, on his way to another job, took a look at my HWH and discovered it was just turned off and on a timer. He fixed it quickly and efficiently, and even took care of my baseboards while he was there. But the best part was his follow-up call later that evening just to make sure everything was working again. Seriously, he’s fantastic – honest, patient, and genuinely caring. As a new homeowner, I’ve dealt with some less-than-stellar contractors, and Chris is a welcome change. He didn’t hesitate to help me with even small jobs, and I wholeheartedly recommend him – you absolutely need Chris! report abuse
