    “I was really pleased with Beltway Electric – Father and Gene were both incredibly professional and punctual. I had a particularly complex situation, having worked with BGE for over four years after Beltway Electric completed their portion of the job, which Gene thankfully finished on March 20, 2025. He was fantastic at navigating the back-and-forth with BGE and PG County’s permit office. Because of his patience and persistence, I’d wholeheartedly recommend Beltway Electric and definitely plan to use them again.” report abuse

    “I hired Gene Gooslin from Beltway Electric back in July of 2023 to install some new GFCI outlets, and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly frustrating. Just two months later, one of the outlets he installed outside was already malfunctioning – it turned red and wouldn’t reset. I tried repeatedly to get Gene to respond, but he wouldn’t answer my calls, only for someone else to eventually call back and tell me he’d get in touch, which he never did. I left several voicemails, but there was no response. I ended up having to hire a different electrician who confirmed that Gene hadn’t done the work correctly. Now, a year later, a second GFCI in the garage is making a loud clicking noise and smells like it’s burning, with the light flashing red rapidly. I’m seriously concerned and will be contacting my warranty company to investigate and demand a full refund – this is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a lack of professionalism.” report abuse
