We hired Grow Landscape Solutions, led by Mike Willis, for a major backyard landscaping project, and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing and fraught with problems. We initially chose them based on Mike’s friendly demeanor and a solid one-year guarantee, but the project quickly deteriorated. Mike was rarely on-site, relying on a crew leader and outside workers who didn’t seem to work well together. Issues frequently arose with conflict between the crew and Mike, who would immediately blame everyone. One particularly concerning incident involved him cutting a cable line and then attempting to shift the blame onto the cable company, despite witnessing it himself. We ended up paying for the repairs out of pocket. Beyond the interpersonal issues, the project itself was poorly executed. There was no proper planning, like installing the mulch before the sod, resulting in a messy, unusable surface. We were charged for a large quantity of expensive Zeon Zoysia sod, but only six pallets were actually installed, and Mike attempted to avoid compensating us for the unused portion. Adding to the problems, the installation included a faulty stairway that left a large gap between the door and the steps, requiring us to pay a separate contractor to fix it. The sod installation also completely disrupted the yard’s drainage, creating a persistent swamp-like condition. To make matters worse, the crew left a considerable amount of dirt and mud around the newly installed stone, and one of the trees they planted died. Throughout the entire process, we had to consistently bring these issues to Mike’s attention, as he rarely noticed or addressed them himself. Ultimately, he stopped responding to our calls and texts, leaving us with a severely flawed and unusable backyard after spending over $20,000. We’re now considering legal action to resolve this situation.

“I’m incredibly concerned and frankly, quite disturbed by the behavior I’ve experienced this week. Someone has repeatedly trespassed onto my property, including into my backyard, and harassed my family. They’ve blocked my driveway and acted like they had a right to be there, despite not having any permission. I have video evidence of these incidents, and I’ve contacted them multiple times, but they haven’t responded at all. I’m seriously questioning whether this is a legitimate company or if it’s something more sinister – like individuals scoping out my property for potential theft.”

“I was really disappointed with the experience. After submitting my plans and receiving a quote from Angela H., she brought to my attention a drainage ditch that was present on the drawings but hadn’t been accounted for in the initial bid. Because of this oversight, she’s now requesting an additional $1000.00. It feels like a mistake on their part, and I’m understandably frustrated that they’re trying to charge me for it. Honestly, the whole situation felt a bit deceptive, and I wouldn’t recommend LeCraw division again.”

“We’re really disappointed with our experience working with Gaskins. We’re building a new home in the development and needed stakes placed along the property lines – which, rightfully, Gaskins had the records for since they conducted the initial survey. However, their quote was significantly higher than those offered by other companies, and those competitors were able to complete the work without needing the original survey records. It feels like Gaskins was taking advantage of new homeowners with inflated prices.”

“We tried repeatedly to get a property line survey done for our fence installation – leaving two voice mails and sending messages through their website over the course of three weeks. Unfortunately, we received no response whatsoever, which led us to believe they aren’t really taking on residential projects.”
-
“They were fantastic – they quickly produced the full-size copies of the land survey I needed and were really helpful throughout the process.”
-
“I was really disappointed with their visit. They showed up at my property unannounced, surveying an area of four acres, and then immediately informed me they didn’t even have a truck available. It felt incredibly rude and disrespectful of my property.”
-
“I can’t recommend this company. My experience was incredibly frustrating – they completely failed to follow through and didn’t even bother to communicate with me. I spent over three months with no results, and the lack of contact was truly unacceptable.”
-
Honestly, I was really disappointed with the price for this survey – it felt incredibly over-priced for a standard residential property assessment. I’d suggest exploring other options; there are likely more reasonable services available.

“Jay was fantastic – really professional and incredibly helpful. I really appreciate his assistance!”
