“I was incredibly pleased with the work Brian Head and his team did restoring my Cessna 180. Brian was fantastic – he really took the time to develop a clever strategy for perfectly matching the original color and detailing the logo. Ron and Ray did a superb job prepping the aircraft, and Leslie Grant was always so helpful and friendly. It was a really professional and enjoyable experience.”

“We were absolutely thrilled with the custom paint job Arizona Aircraft Painting did on our T207A after its restoration. It’s gotten us so many compliments – we’re constantly showing it off! Brian and Steve were fantastic to work with, and their shop and paint booth were truly impressive. You could really tell they take a lot of pride in their work. We’re based in Wyoming, but we’ll definitely be making the trip back to Arizona for our next paint job.”

“Honestly, my RV-8A looked pretty rough for the first five years – no paint at all. But Arizona Aircraft Painting completely transformed it. The quality of their work and the people were fantastic; I was really impressed.”

“I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Arizona Aircraft Painting. A friend highly recommended them, and I was really impressed from the start. They have a real depth of knowledge and pay such careful attention to detail – it was incredibly reassuring. I now completely understand why they use specialized aviation paint and their other techniques; it’s clear that quality is their top priority. Honestly, I wouldn’t trust my plane to anyone else!”

“I’m absolutely thrilled with the work Arizona Aircraft Painting did on my RV-7A. After five years of building it myself, often working nights, I wanted a truly stunning finish, and they absolutely delivered. It’s gorgeous – a real work of art, and I just love the plane now. They really helped me realize a dream I’d been working towards.”

Overall, we were incredibly pleased with the painting and detailing work done on our Piper Warrior II by Arizona Aircraft Painting. From the moment we contacted them, we appreciated their professionalism and the obvious care they took with our plane. They really understood the importance of preserving the aircraft’s original character while giving it a stunning new look. We were particularly impressed with their facility – it was clearly a state-of-the-art operation with a fantastic, environmentally controlled booth. They meticulously stripped the plane down to bare metal and applied a protective anti-corrosive coating, which we knew was crucial. Brian was fantastic to work with, patiently helping us choose a beautiful blue metallic stripe with a silver accent, and he even suggested incorporating micro vortex generators – a really smart idea that he connected us with a pilot who had already done. We also took advantage of the opportunity to have a polarized windscreen installed at the same time, streamlining the process. We were fortunate enough to observe the entire process, and it was amazing to watch our old Piper transform. It’s now a truly gorgeous aircraft, and we’re thrilled with the final result. They even gave it a fantastic name – Raquel Welch – which we absolutely love! We highly recommend Arizona Aircraft Painting.

“I’m incredibly disappointed with the paint job on my aircraft. As someone who regularly works with a fleet of planes, I’ve had quite a few painted over the years, and this was by far the worst I’ve ever experienced. The masking was done terribly, creating a messy, uneven finish around the stripes, and the paint itself was noticeably dirty. I had to send the plane back twice, and unfortunately, it still wasn’t right. Ultimately, I paid the full bill, but I’m now taking it to another shop for a complete overhaul. The shop explained they were out of town and had issues with quality control, and frankly, this was the eighth aircraft I’d had painted this year, and it was the only one done by Arizona Aircraft Painted. Considering I’d gotten much better results – and at a lower cost – with local shops in Utah who’d painted two other Cessnas and four Tecnam aircraft, I’m very concerned about the quality of work I received.”

“Arizona Aircraft Painting really exceeded my expectations with the work they did on my Piper Archer II. They took the time to do a really detailed inspection, pinpointing areas needing attention, and then handled getting the necessary parts for the hail damage. They also added some great upgrades like vortex generators, upswept wingtips with landing lights, and LED navigation lights – really modernizing the plane. The paint job itself, a Porsche metallic cobalt blue with bronze and base white accents, looks fantastic. What’s particularly appreciated is their willingness to continue providing touch-ups as I’ve added new avionics, ensuring everything remains perfectly aligned. They also do interior upholstery upgrades, which is a fantastic bonus!”

“I was really pleased with the work Arizona Aircraft Painting did on our Stearman – a beautiful, first-class job! They were also incredibly fair and responsive, and I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for top-quality aircraft painting.”

“I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Brian and Steve – they’re fantastic! I’ve been impressed with the quality of work coming out of this facility for a while now. When I was getting my paint job, they were spot on with their initial quote, and they exceeded all expectations. They even went above and beyond, taking care of a few extra details without me asking. It was a genuinely pleasant and professional experience – something you don’t always find in the aviation industry.”
