I really enjoyed my visit to this newer facility – it’s incredibly clean and the lazy river was a fantastic treat! I was especially impressed that Mesa Parks & Rec offers aquatic classes; I wholeheartedly recommend that all Mesa parents consider signing their kids up for swim classes during the summer, starting as early as their first summer. It’s amazing how important it is for young children to develop water confidence and basic rescue skills. The earlier they learn, the more comfortable and capable they’ll be in the water, which ultimately makes them much safer and reduces the risk of drowning. It’s a wonderful program – thank you, Mesa Parks & Rec!

Overall, we had a pretty good time at the water park – it was a fun experience for everyone in our family, and the lazy river was a big hit. It was also great to see a dedicated shallow end for the little ones. However, it was incredibly crowded, likely because it was their first summer open, and that made it really difficult to keep track of our kids, especially with so many other children with similar features. It felt a bit overwhelming trying to spot them amidst all the activity. We even had to rush home before we could buy the required swim pants – they’re very strict about needing the mesh underwear for the boys, and without them, you can’t get in.

“Overall, we had a good experience renting the facility for our event. However, we were a little surprised that there wasn't any mention of a large event happening at the high school that night during the booking process. Because of that, we ended up struggling to find parking, which could have been easily avoided with a heads-up about the scheduling conflict.”

“It’s a really great pool – plenty of space and it’s kept super clean. My siblings and I had a lot of fun on the diving boards; one was about nine feet and the others were two.”

Overall, we’ve had some good experiences here, but there’s definitely room for improvement. My kids really enjoy the lazy river, and it’s great that they can spend time there. However, it feels a little disconnected from the main pool area, and I can’t easily keep an eye on them from where I sit. Because my kids are older – 8 and 9 – they aren't really interested in the toddler area. It seems a bit limited for them, especially with the lack of slides and other features. For the swim meets, the bleachers are conveniently close, but the seating is really inadequate; the pool gets so crowded because there isn’t enough space. Plus, the bleachers don't offer much shade, and you get hit by the sun even in the evening.

“We absolutely loved it – it’s a really lovely, clean space perfect for young children, and we never found it too busy, especially during the week. The water was a great temperature too! We’d definitely be returning with our family.”

“We absolutely love going to this pool – it’s fantastic for the whole family. The design is really great, and it’s always kept incredibly clean with their hourly checks and regular bathroom cleaning. There’s a good balance of people, so it’s never too crowded, and we can actually enjoy time with our family and friends. We go almost every week!”

Overall, the Mesa High Pool Aquatic Center is a fantastic option for a family day out, especially during the hot Arizona summers. It’s great value for money and offers something for everyone, from young kids to adults. I really liked the variety of features – the beach area, lazy river, Maine pool, and diving boards made it a really enjoyable experience for all ages.

Overall, this place was fantastic! The staff – from the cashiers to the lifeguards – were all incredibly friendly, professional, and really helpful. The pool itself was great, a lot of fun and suitable for people of all ages, and the diving boards and slide added to the enjoyment.
