  I was really disappointed with the lack of communication. Rep didn’t let me know he was running late for our initial appointment – the office only contacted me half an hour after it was scheduled. The same thing happened when he rescheduled. It was 20 minutes after the new time that he finally called, explaining he was running 40 minutes behind because he hadn’t properly factored in the distance to my location. Honestly, it felt incredibly disrespectful of my time and showed a lack of planning. Given this experience, I ultimately decided to cancel the appointment because I wasn't sure I could trust him to be reliable and deliver on the project as promised. First impressions matter, and this definitely didn't make a good one. report abuse

  “I can’t recommend Midland Fence Company enough! We’ve used them four times over the last 20 years, and they’ve consistently impressed us. They’re always professional, courteous, and get the job done on time. We were particularly grateful when a windstorm damaged our chain link fence – Kevin responded immediately and had it repaired just in time for me to welcome my first foster dog. We even used them when we moved to a new house, and they installed a beautiful black chain link fence perfectly. And during the craziness of COVID, they were still incredibly responsive and competitive with their pricing. Seriously, they went above and beyond when they had to quickly take down and reinstall our fence when a shed was delivered. They’re a truly reliable and fantastic company.” report abuse

There was a slight delay due to the weather, but the crew arrived this morning and managed to complete the fence installation ahead of schedule – a fantastic turnaround. They were incredibly professional and friendly, and Kevin was particularly helpful. We especially appreciated them addressing our concern about the tree roots and expertly squaring off the corner of the property.   “I’m incredibly disappointed with Midland Fence. I’ve tried reaching them twice to schedule a visit, but they haven’t returned my calls. I’ve also heard from other customers that they’re generally unreliable. To make matters worse, their work resulted in a serious problem – they accidentally cut into a Spectrum cable! It’s clear there are significant issues with their operation and reliability, and I’m very concerned about the damage they caused.” report abuse

  Overall, I’m pretty disappointed with the fence installation. I was expecting it to be closer to the ground, like I’d seen in other installations, but there are significant gaps – some small, some quite large. They explained the height difference was to protect it from the cold, but they didn’t mention it until after they’d already measured and sent me the estimate. When I pointed out the problem, they essentially shrugged it off and said there was nothing they could do. They did offer to remove the fence and give me a refund, which was a bit surprising, but it shouldn’t have come to that in the first place. I wasn't present during the installation, so I’d strongly recommend being there yourself if you have them install your fence. report abuse

  I’m really disappointed with the way this was handled. It was completely unacceptable for them to install anything on my property without my permission – it’s a serious breach of respect for property boundaries and the law. I strongly advise against using this service. report abuse
