“I unfortunately had a really negative experience with Vanman Architects and Builders. They took the full payment from the client for a senior housing project, but completely failed to pay the subcontractors who did the actual work. It was incredibly concerning and, frankly, irresponsible – it put a lot of pressure on those professionals. To add to that, communication was consistently poor, and my attempts to get answers to questions and raise concerns were largely ignored. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend using Vanman; it’s clear they don’t operate with the reliability or ethical standards you’d expect from a contractor.”

“I was really pleased with Vanman Architects & General Contractors. I was looking for a reliable construction company in the Minneapolis area, and they stood out. They completely understood my vision for the new house – the design and my specific requirements – and executed the build flawlessly. The workers were incredibly skilled, hardworking, and genuinely dedicated to the project.”

“I was incredibly impressed with Vanman Architect and Builder. They consistently delivered exceptional work and were incredibly reliable, always meeting deadlines. Honestly, they’re the best building contractors and commercial architects I’ve worked with – I’m a huge fan of their commitment to making sure their clients are completely satisfied.”
-
“I worked with Vanman in Owatonna on a church project, and I’m unfortunately still waiting to be paid for my services. Despite multiple attempts to contact them by phone and email, I haven’t received a response.”

“Just a quick note – it looks like Google hasn’t updated your information. You’re still listed as being at Winnetka, but your current address is now 9600 54th Ave N, Mpls MN. Please update this as soon as possible! The Vanman website is great, but we need you to be listed correctly on Google.”
-
“This was a truly disappointing experience. We ended up having to take over the project completely, which was a direct result of their lack of engagement and oversight. We were significantly behind schedule – over 18-19 months – and it felt like the worst possible decision.”
-
“This team was fantastic to work with – really positive and collaborative.”
