“I wanted to finally share my experience with the Cambridge property. I moved in around April of 2011, and unfortunately, issues started almost immediately after.”
-
“Working with Heritage Family Homes and their team was fantastic. As we were moving from New York to Southwest Alabama, we were looking for a builder we could really trust, and they proved to be incredibly easy to work with. We went through quite a few builders before ultimately choosing them to build our home, the Warwick, on our land – it was a big decision given the distance of 1300 miles!”
-
“I’m incredibly disappointed with this company. The build took an unacceptable 18 months, and we’ve encountered a number of serious issues, including a non-functional ice maker and four interior door knobs that have fallen off. It’s truly been a frustrating experience.”
-
“Overall, we’re really pleased with how things are progressing on our new home – it’s fantastic to see it all coming together. We know there have been some delays with materials arriving and other homes being built in the area, which is understandably causing a little bit of a lag, but we’re confident it’ll all work out in the end.”
-
“Unfortunately, the construction process took significantly longer than initially anticipated. Even more concerningly, we started noticing cracks in the ceiling just a year after moving in. When we reported this to the warranty department, we were disappointed by their lack of response, as they didn’t seem willing to address the issue due to their specific requirements.”
-
“Honestly, we were really disappointed with the work. The ceiling repair was a major issue – it looked completely unstable and the technician admitted it was likely to get worse if they tried to fix it. Plus, the toilets weren't level and the flooring was incredibly sensitive and scratched or dented very easily.”
-
Overall, Heritage Homes did a fantastic job making the process of building my new home so much smoother than I anticipated. The biggest issue I had was a few unexpected costs that weren't clearly outlined at the beginning. However, I was really pleased with the extra features and inclusions they added – it was a very positive experience overall.
-
“I’m incredibly disappointed with this property. Within just a few weeks of moving in, we’ve encountered a serious problem – a gas leak in the fireplace that forced us to evacuate – and several other issues, including doors that don’t close properly with large gaps. I’ve contacted the owner about these problems.”
-
“I cannot recommend this company. The work was shockingly poor – we encountered broken studs, severely damaged electrical wiring, a hole in the roof, and significant issues with the framing and brickwork that was completely uneven. We ultimately had to bring in another contractor and electrician to fully complete the job and fix the substantial problems. Seriously, avoid this company.”
-
“I’m extremely disappointed with this company. They were consistently late, unresponsive to my concerns, and frankly, felt like a complete waste of money. I have photographic evidence to back up my claims. It’s been three months since the work started, and while the framing and roofing are done, the lack of progress overall has been incredibly frustrating.”
