  Overall, we were extremely pleased with TDH’s work on our large pool project and the associated smaller additions. They handled the entire process – from design through construction – with a fantastic level of communication and attention to detail. TDH’s team really stepped up by assisting with the pool design and expertly building the fountain and boulder wall, which were invaluable in addressing our grading challenges. We especially appreciated their proactive follow-up on the plant replacements and the care their workers took with the landscaping.   TDH was a fantastic experience – our pool builder really recommended them, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. My wife and I have backgrounds in design and construction, so we were looking for a partner who understood our needs. From the very first meeting with Russ Irvin, it was obvious he was incredibly knowledgeable and had a ton of experience tackling complex projects. More importantly, he was just really easy to work with. We felt like TDH would be the perfect addition to our team. Our project was quite unique, and that’s actually what led us to TDH. We put in a lot of pre-planning, but even with that, we ran into some design challenges. What really stood out was how supportive TDH was – they were always there to collaborate with us and offered really valuable suggestions. Plus, their pricing was fair and they stayed within our budget. Honestly, as someone with a construction background, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. What impressed us most was that they didn't try to treat it like a standard production build. The same skilled crew worked on the project consistently, and they did everything in-house. You can really see the difference in quality, and it was fantastic. We would absolutely use TDH again and have already told several neighbors about them for their upcoming projects. report abuse

  I was really disappointed with my experience contacting TDH. I initially reached out on June 2nd to get a quote for a significant backyard project, and they responded quickly, scheduling a visit for July 11th. However, the meeting with Darlene was a complete letdown. She didn’t even bother to walk around the yard to assess the work needed – she just immediately started telling me it was impossible to provide an estimate and suggested I pull weeds on the side of my house, which was completely irrelevant to the project. She insisted they couldn’t even begin to calculate costs until the project was over $10,000, despite it being a straightforward landscaping job. Honestly, it felt like Darlene was more focused on plants than understanding the actual scope of the work. Because of this, I never received a quote or any communication from TDH, and I got the impression that they weren’t particularly interested in our project. report abuse

  Overall, our experience with TDH was mixed. We saw some good results initially, but things quickly deteriorated. Starting with the very first project, we faced persistent difficulties with follow-ups, getting agreements finalized, and resolving issues. It became increasingly frustrating, and frankly, quite exasperating, as promises were repeatedly broken and resistance to problem-solving became a major concern. We tried our best to work through these challenges and give them the benefit of the doubt, but ultimately, we lost trust in the team and felt increasingly manipulated. The lack of formal agreements, coupled with a reliance on verbal promises that were consistently ignored, was a serious issue. Because of these ongoing problems, we ultimately had to terminate our service and move on to a company we felt we could rely on. We weren’t seeking free services; we simply asked for what was agreed upon and promised. It appeared these problematic business practices were part of the company's approach, which is why we made the difficult decision to end our relationship. report abuse

  TDH did an absolutely fantastic job transforming our property. We initially found them through a neighbor’s sign, and we’re so glad we did! Nathan was incredibly helpful, offering great advice, a solid design plan, and patiently answering all of our questions throughout the entire project. Bryant, our site supervisor, and the whole team were consistently professional and really courteous – we felt completely comfortable with them working on our property. The quality of the work, particularly the walkways and patios, is outstanding – it’s both beautiful and incredibly precise. And we especially loved that the entire project, including the beautiful black fence, was seamlessly integrated. It’s given our 1920s home a stunning makeover and really brought out its classic elegance. We wholeheartedly recommend TDH for any hardscaping or landscaping needs – you won’t be disappointed! report abuse

  TDH absolutely knocked it out of the park with my landscaping project! It was a massive undertaking – really starting from nothing – and they handled every detail with incredible care. They completely rebuilt my deck and porch, added a beautiful paver patio and a stunning stone retaining wall. I’m honestly blown away by the quality of their work and how well they listened to my vision. I’m completely in love with my garden now, and TDH exceeded all my expectations. report abuse

  “I was really disappointed with my experience working with Nathan. They initially told me they’d have my landscape design started within 60 days back in the spring, but now they’re saying it will be at least three more months before they can even begin. It’s completely unacceptable – I’ve wasted a lot of time waiting, and we’ll definitely miss the growing season. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this company if you need someone to stick to a timeline.” report abuse
