  Overall, I’m really pleased with the finished fence. I’m a bit particular about prep work, and it’s clear they took that seriously. Initially, I wasn’t thrilled with the color choice – I should have probably picked that out myself – but they were fantastic about coming back and addressing the issues. They resanded some areas and repainted with the new paint I provided. It was a little stressful bringing up my concerns, but they were incredibly responsive and happy to make things right.   I’m incredibly disappointed with the experience we had with A Fresh Look Handyman. We were really hoping to find a reliable contractor based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, we ended up with shockingly poor workmanship and a completely dismissive owner. We’ve got plenty of construction experience ourselves, and frankly, it was frustrating to feel like we weren’t taken seriously. The final result was unacceptable – a poorly executed remodel, including a ridiculous use of a painted tide cap for a plumbing project, and tile that was significantly misaligned. To be told it was “just a rental” felt like an excuse for substandard work. We’ve since received a defensive and frankly misleading response from the owner, attempting to shift blame and even suggesting we were harassing them. We strongly advise anyone considering this company to steer clear. report abuse

  I can’t recommend this company. My experience was incredibly frustrating and ultimately damaging. The initial employee caused a significant issue with my home’s septic system, costing me over $2,000 to repair – and they refused to cover the expense. Worse, the owner stole an additional $3,000 from me through a credit card charge. They abandoned the project entirely after billing $13,000 total. I’ve had to involve the police, and we’re now pursuing legal action. Furthermore, the work was done improperly, with the floor not leveled correctly. Please avoid this company – it’s simply not worth the trouble. report abuse

  “This was incredibly frustrating. I had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday at 8 a.m., but I was repeatedly contacted with last-minute cancellations – first at 7:45 a.m., then again at 9 a.m. the next day due to car trouble. Each time, I was asked to reschedule, and each time, it threw off my entire work schedule for three days. The worst part was the complete lack of communication; I didn't hear from them until 9:40 a.m., and even then, they just asked me to ‘text me in a bit’ without letting me know what was going on. Honestly, it was a huge waste of my time and completely disrupted my work.” report abuse
