  It was really frustrating – he came and promised a quote, but never followed up. We had to keep calling and were told to expect it within two days, but nobody ever got back to us. A really disappointing experience. report abuse

They’d previously installed a fence at my new house, and when we ran into a problem with the latch, they quickly came out and helped us fix it – completely free of charge! They also explained the lifetime warranty on the latch, which gave me a lot of confidence. Overall, they were incredibly courteous and responded promptly.   I’ve been really pleased with Overlook Fence Company – I’ve actually had them build three different fences for me over the years, at different properties. They did a fantastic job with everything, from the initial three-board farm fence back in 2013, to the wood picket fence in 2015, and the aluminum metal fence more recently. All the fences and gates are exceptionally well-made and have stood up really well to the elements. Plus, they were always reliable, showing up for the estimates and completing the work on time.   I was really disappointed with the service I received when my back gate was damaged. I called to report the issue and they scheduled a repair appointment. However, the technician never showed up, and I received no communication whatsoever about the missed appointment. After waiting all day, I had to call again to find out they hadn’t even come. They then told me they didn’t think they could fix it, which was completely unacceptable. The lack of communication and follow-up was incredibly frustrating, and ultimately, it cost me $5000 to get the gate repaired elsewhere. Worse still, I’ve heard they lost a significant business account due to this poor customer service experience. report abuse
