  Honestly, we’ve been incredibly frustrated with Steve Inman and Complete Pools and Construction. We tried to be patient at first when their initial work had some issues with the concrete and plumbing, but it quickly became clear they weren’t responsive. We repeatedly asked for corrections, but we stopped hearing from them. Ultimately, they just disappeared. Because of their lack of communication and poor workmanship, we’ve ended up spending nearly $20,000 to fix the problems they created. Other pool companies confirmed our husband’s concerns – who has experience in building and construction – and provided estimates for the necessary repairs.   “Overall, we’ve been really disappointed with the service Steve provided. After the pool installation was finished, he hasn’t responded to any of our calls or messages, which has made it incredibly difficult to address some issues. Specifically, the pool floor feels rough with what seems to be rocks, and he never followed through on his promise to bring a smoothing tool. Adding to this, our pool heater isn’t working, and we haven't received any communication about it at all. I’m trying to be fair, but the lack of communication and unfinished work are significant concerns.” report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with this company. We’ve been waiting over a year for our pool to be completed, and frankly, it’s been a nightmare. We’ve received nothing but excuses from the owner, Steve, and it’s become clear he’s involved in a legal dispute with a loan company – we’ve even been asked to pay them directly. We were initially promised completion by the end of June 2023, but that’s long passed, and now we’re facing subpoenas on top of the ongoing stress. report abuse

  “We’ve been incredibly happy with Complete Pools – we had them install our pool about eight years ago, and they did a fantastic job. Steve has always taken care of our opening and closing each year, which gives us so much peace of mind. They’re really responsive to our calls and their prices are very reasonable.   “I cannot recommend Complete Pools and Construction. Based on multiple reports in the New Buffalo area, they’ve built several pools that have subsequently been demolished due to serious construction issues – problems with the concrete, plumbing, liners, and wall support. It appears they’re not delivering on their promises, and I strongly advise against using their services.” report abuse

  Honestly, I couldn’t be more disappointed. After a disastrous experience with my pool project and a constant stream of excuses for poor workmanship, I absolutely wouldn’t recommend Steve for any job, not even something small like a birdhouse. It was a truly awful experience – the feeling was exactly like watching money burn. report abuse
