  Luis Torres and Xact Construction were a complete disaster for me. I hired them to repair my bathroom after a burst pipe, and it was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. The quality of the work was shockingly poor – sloppy, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. He didn’t properly grout the shower, didn’t level it, and even charged me for parts he never installed. He only contacted me when he needed money, disappearing for days and acting dismissive and rude. I ended up having to pay someone else to fix his shoddy work. I strongly advise anyone considering hiring him to check with the CSLB – even if your insurance company recommends him, you absolutely need to do your research! It’s clear he’s not a trustworthy contractor, and thankfully, his license has now been suspended. report abuse

  “I was really impressed with Xact Construction. They did an outstanding job – the quality of their work was fantastic, and they were incredibly reliable, completing the project on time. What really stood out was how knowledgeable they were, taking the time to explain things to me and educate me about the process. They also took care of all the little details, like the cleanup and fixing the drywall and tile, and it looks absolutely brand new. I’ll definitely be reaching out to them again, especially for any office projects.” report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with this company. Frankly, I wouldn’t give them less than zero stars if I could. I requested a refund through Luis, but despite his assurances, nothing ever happened. I ended up having to take legal action and I’m still waiting for my money back. The quality of their work was shockingly poor – they didn't even level the floor or properly lay the tiles.
