  “I found the surveying process to be surprisingly complex – it’s a really transactional business that doesn’t always get the attention it deserves. With so many companies offering the service, it’s hard to know who to trust as a homebuyer. I needed a detailed site plan for a building permit, and Tim at Grusenmeyer-Scott really went the extra mile. It ended up being a more involved survey than I anticipated, but he was fantastic – incredibly communicative and responsive throughout the whole process. I’d definitely recommend him.” report abuse

  “We commissioned Gruesenmeyer-Scott to update our property survey in 2020 after adding a fence. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. Getting a response from them was a major struggle – it took multiple emails and phone calls to finally speak with someone. While Donna was helpful on the phone and we eventually agreed on a price and a surveyor’s appointment, the follow-up was consistently delayed and disorganized. The surveyor himself was diligent and pleasant, but the overall service was plagued by unresponsive staff and a chaotic office environment. Adding a crucial detail – the high water mark – proved particularly difficult, with a surveyor refusing to investigate it based on county records and a staff member arguing that it couldn’t be done. It felt like we were constantly fighting to get basic service, and the lack of communication and basic professionalism left us feeling completely undervalued.” report abuse

  “I recently contacted them for a boundary survey estimate, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. It seemed like they were genuinely surprised to find someone requesting their services, and the office was in a really disorganized and unpleasant state.
