“We’ve really appreciated working with Mary Anna and her team – we initially chose them back in 2017 while building our home in Poland, and then again last year during our project in Wells. That experience in 2017 was a key factor in our decision to go with them again.”
-
“We were really disappointed with the floors. They hadn’t been properly leveled, and the explanation for the unevenness – that the supports weren’t adjusted correctly on the stairs – didn’t seem to add up. We ended up needing a carpenter to install nails in the carpet, which felt like a fix for a problem that should have been addressed initially.”

Mary Anna and John were absolutely fantastic to work with. They really went above and beyond to help us create the perfect home – it was a truly custom build, and they turned what could have been a stressful experience into something really enjoyable. We’re thrilled with the final result, and in fact, we’ve already recommended them to several friends and family members.

“We’d been searching for a house for quite a while, and finally got really focused this year. Back in February 2020, we’d looked at every single property on the STRAP in Oxford – we liked a few, but nothing quite clicked for us. That’s how we ended up visiting Alternative Modular Homes…”

Honestly, the experience with this company was pretty frustrating. They finalized a bill for around $95, which we paid on time, but it felt like they only did the bare minimum because I pushed them for a detailed receipt confirming the house was spotless. It seemed like they only acted when I insisted, and I wouldn’t recommend them based on that experience.

“My wife and I were so pleased with this company. They really went above and beyond, not just providing excellent customer service, but genuinely wanting to create a home that felt perfect for us. They were incredibly helpful throughout the whole process of redesigning our layout.”
-
Ryan was absolutely invaluable to us as we navigated the complicated process of finding and getting our modular home in Maine. It was a really long and challenging journey, and we honestly couldn't have done it without his support and expertise every step of the way.
-
Maryanna and John did a fantastic job designing and building our new home. They were both incredibly efficient and professional, and we’re absolutely thrilled with the finished product – especially the beautiful basement and landscaping! We couldn't be happier.
-
“This company really stood out to us. They were incredibly attentive, taking the time to answer all of our questions and demonstrating a real depth of knowledge. Plus, they were very reasonable in their pricing – the owner was particularly helpful.”
-
“I had a really negative experience here. The staff were incredibly dismissive – they went inside the office and no one even acknowledged us. When someone finally noticed us, she was incredibly rude and seemed completely uninterested in helping us. Honestly, it felt like they didn’t want to serve us, and I wouldn't recommend doing business with them.”
